H., neither they both and AWERASER all use the same code but are trivially reskinned and the licensing rebranded, none have a version history none even say what's new with the so called new versions if you have one you don't need the others. They never have technical data on things like what you HAVE TO DO if you want to securely erase with system restore enabled or VSS protection as when you overwrite with VSS enabled on a drive a backup copy is saved to the shadowcopy store database and so remains to be recovered by deep scans or in the next restore point creation or use... None say what they do with cluster tips of files it erases, does it erase to the end of the unused, but may contain previous date, cluster tip and when clearing free space does it wipe the cluster tips of existing files which may contain previous data fragments... And they all make the false claim that using their product to erase files or free space does not damage or negatively effect SSD drives when every write consumes erase/write cycle lifetime of SSD media and FLASH USB/memory cards it cannot be avoided by ANY software/hardware product.
