I installed and registered it. After I registered it, then its interface would never show up. Uninstalled. I don't have time for such nonsense.

If you really need to closely monitor everything written to or deleted from a bunch of hard drives this could be an awesome program; otherwise, it seems like overkill for normal users. Once or twice over the last 10 years i had a hard drive that kept filling up fast for some unknown reason. I eventually resolved the problem, but if i'd had this app i might have figured out the problem a lot sooner!

DiskPulse Pro is a pretty light weight app as far as installation impact on Windows goes, so no big reason not to give it a try if this sort of thing interests you. The common complaint I've read is that it can provide or produce too much data to be easily looked at / analyzed, kind of like Sysinternals Process Monitor.

My interest was/is on monitoring changes when doing something like installing or updating software, but I believe this developer's products are generally geared more towards businesses, where DiskPulse for example would notify IT folks of suspicious activity.

The SQL database should be available in today's giveaway. When you open the program and click on the SQL database icon an error message pops up saying that the SQL database is just available in the Ultimate edition. I feel the program is not usable with this type of limitation.
