Helps you get back all kinds of lost or deleted data on Android devices.

The idea of Digital Physiognomy is simple. It works like a police sketch but reveals how to know anyone intimately from the physical structure of the face. Several facial features are used, such as the forms of the mouth, and the width between the eyes.

First upload a photo or push the keys 'Ctrl+V' to paste an image stored on the Windows Clipboard. Next create a sketch the traditional way - piecing together individual features. The program let you see a psychological profile and PType based solely on face image, it defines person's temper, intellect, level of optimism, conformism - adventurism, egoism - altruism, laziness, honesty, and even luck. This is purely for entertainment purposes only.

Key Features:

  • The program determines a person's psychological characteristics.
  • A detailed character analysis of a person in a graphic format.
  • A diagram of temperament.
  • The main character traits are flashed.
  • The program allows you to print a report.
  • The program allows you to save a report as a web page.

To avoid noisy buzz this great program should be offered yesterday as a game giveaway, it could gather a high score.

@#36 Michael Summerset,

This program does not justify anything; I don't envision anyone using this app to make life decisions. It doesn't "justify judging people based on their looks" any more than Grand Theft Auto justifies smashing into people with your car and shooting them in the head.

BTW, Thanks GOTD (and Uniphiz)-- it's nice to get an entertaining trifle once in a while!

Yeah...

Hmm. Since everyone who likes it says "it's fun!", maybe it it would have been more appropriate on the Game Giveaway Of The Day side of the website instead of here. ( http://game.giveawayoftheday.com )

And maybe those tired of all the "serious" offerings here should check out GAOTD's game side (G.GAOTD?). It's not near as prolific with the giveaways (they are NOT every day), but you'll find more "fun" stuff there.

There is usually a link in the upper right hand corner of this webpage that will take you there, that's how I originally found it.

I didn't vote it down, but it's definitely something I would get tired of very quickly because it's just nonsense. Like spending your time inventing the Klingon language just for yourself. Definitely not something you'll look back from your death bed thinking, "God. I wish I'd spent more time doing THAT."

Now, I'm not complaining about the fact that GAOTD offered it in the first place. It's their bandwidth and webspace to use any which way they please, and it's MY fault if I feel reading all the comments, and making one myself, was a waste of my time. I can always go elsewhere. But, and I'm just talking out of my hat here, it seems to me that looking at the feedback and votes, most of the eyeballs here are attached to people who won't download it. As I suggested before, maybe a more efficient use of this space and a better bang for the buck of your paying customer, might happen on the game side of this website.

Personally, Giovanni's silence on this giveaway says more than I ever could.

Ok, I don't have any use for this type of software either for fun or otherwise but thought after reading the various comments I'd give it a try. After playing around with it I got board, very board and decided to uninstall it. Verdict: Ok, it your into stuff like this but can't see any point to it. No issues with setting up and registering, just not my thing.

at # 33 it's not complaining when tried it and stating issues are having with software u needed to go get your G.E.D> as it's obviously u aren't very well educated. As GAOTD has ended their daily game giveaway as it used to be a free game each day not just weekends they did it ears ago, as some of us have possibly tried this before as developer has free trial on their website and some of us get the software 12 hrs earlier then others because of other countries times zones.
I don't care waht rude remarks u may say to my comment as it doesn't matter to me only what i think of myself and jesus christ who is real any comments posted by anyone to my comment are subject to possibly having their username automatically posed on critic review site with pre-written review posted along with it

Downloaded, installed and runs without glitches on Windows 7, 64 bit, i7. #39 (Tom): I also couldn't tell if it was registered after I copied and pasted the code so I registered again by hand-typing the code in and obviously made some 0 vs. O errors because some of the bars in the bottom section of the right side were replaced with a message telling me that by purchasing the program I'd get the full 15 items. Also, a little pop up, "Get It Now", appeared. I pasted the reg code in again and everything went back to "normal". If the interface looks like the last screenshot with all the bars in place, if you're not getting a little "nag message" to buy the program, it's registered.

This is just a fun program. I've played around with it for a few minutes. The program runs smoothly and quickly. It's relatively easy to select the face/head characteristics and to use the sliders to adjust each of them. I tried using one of my own photos, made it Grayscale but it superimposed on the sketch that was already there so I'm going to have to figure out how to clear the old and make way for the new. Hover the cursor on a tool and it's name/function appears so it shouldn't take too long to get the hang of how to use this program. I'm not sure how to interpret the colors on the bars or the circular thingy at the top - but, like Tarot, maybe I'll just make up an interpretation that sounds OK:-) I don't mind "experimenting" when I don't have specific instructions so that's just what I'm going to do.

Thanks GAOTD. It's nice to have something on my computer that I can play with and that doesn't require me to output something important, seriously creative or meaningful.

Sorry - this might be entertaining if it wasn't so hard to figure out what to do with it. It's definitely not any real kind of psychological analysis software. The "help" file only contains explanations of various personality traits. There are no instructions that I can find on how to use the software. Uninstalled it.

HELP > I was able to cut and paste the code, however, how do I know that it has gone though... and is not just a 15 day trial? I have looked into the ABOUT tab...???

1. Will this program expire in 15 days?
2. How do I know that it has registered properly?
3. This says that it is a special version created for us, so, what is the difference between this version and the full version?

I appreciate your help.

I understand, and most of the adults on this site understand, that this software is just for "fun". The concern is what all those bored middle school youth on summer vacation can do with this on a social networking site. For example, put in their peer's physiognomy profile and then have "fun" posting the "just for fun" "results" on social media sites. Research shows that *nearly all* cyberbullying is done by someone who was "just having fun" and did not mean for anyone to take the "fun" comments seriously but such "fun" can easily result in devastating life outcomes for the target who can do little about the "fun" comments. Even wise youth who know there is no scientific basis for the results could have a difficult time maintaining a budding sense of self-esteem if a peer posts some "fun" results that aren't flattering (and aren't "fun" for the target). Give it some thought and monitor your kids activities and what your kids' peers are exposing your kids to.

@#31 (Joize):

Amen, sister (my apologies if you're a brother; your name indicates you're a sis)! I thought I'm the only person who notices, in general, the people who get things for free are the ones who bark the loudest!

It's one thing to provide constructive criticism. It's quite another to complain about something that's handed to you for nothing in return. I wonder how the people who do all the bickering on this site would feel if their ungrateful banter causes the kind GAOTD peeps to become so discouraged they decide to end their service.

C'mon, people! Appreciate what's here! Don't download when the offer is something you don't want or need. Try to help the developers with suggestions and ideas when you do download. Sure, the developers and/or the GAOTD folks need to know when something's broken, and that's occasionally the case, but bitchers need not apply.

OMG...how can so many people complain about FREE software. I've been a silent member of this site for years now and never replied for better or worse. But today was the straw that broke the camels back. If you do not want something for FREE..then move on. I've never witnessed a group of people who complain about stuff that they never pay for. Its like complaining about soup you get for free at a soup kitchen. Geez...

So many votes in the thumbs down column from people who didn't do more than see that they don't want to try it. I am learning to ignore the thumbs up and thumbs down, for the most part. Except when something gets really high ratings. Sad. That's not what its supposed to be used for. Can the link be changed so that people can't vote with their thumbs, until they have installed the program, and the follow up page comes up?

This is a fun, entertaining app that's a welcome change from the "serious" software usually offered. The Developer repeatedly makes it clear the app is intended to entertain and not to "profile" a person. Arturo Fuentes, commenting above, will confirm how unreliable and dangerous face-typing is, regularly leading to mis-identifications, especially in criminal investigations. An insane little, Austrian house painter proved that, right?

VirusTotal, MalwareBytes, Kaspersky Advisor say the site is CLEAN.

Installed/activated normally on Windows 7 64-bit, has tons of informative Tips and works as advertised.

Thanks, UNIPHIZ Lab and GOTD.

Tried registering the program using copy and paste that did not work. had to type the long license into the program. after that I tried it and it took me to a page to buy the program or try a trial. it said it was unregistered, although it said in the about section of giveawayoftheday. I uninstalled this program in which I would have loved to have. I think Gaotd need to fix this and return this software with a better registry for license users. I'm using win7 32bit.

Ok, I realise now that I didn't accidentally delete part of the Tech Help response. Because this part of the answer from tech help was in brackets, it doesn't show up in HTML. I'll paste it in again below and then remove the brackets and paraphrase the explanation before sending.

'On left panel there is photorobot (sketch).
To clear it go to the menu items at the top of screen and click on Edit and then choose Clear.

On the right panel there is a photo.
When you 'pressed the arrow on the bottom of picture to transfer into the space on the left', it only combines jpg and sketch, but does not recognize the face. You need to compose sketch on left panel yourself.'

Sorry! I accidentally deleted part of the tech help answer to clearing the picture on the left hand side before importing a photo. Here is the answer again:

'On left panel there is photorobot (sketch).
To clear it:

But on right panel there is photo.
When you 'pressed the arrow on the bottom of picture to transfer into the
space on the left', it only combines jpg and sketch
but does not recognize face. You need to compose sketch on left panel
yourself.'

I wrote in a review earlier, saying - amongst other things - I couldn't get the help button to work. Since then, I've discovered it's a link to a web page with information about different personality traits. I also noted that I couldnt get the photo I'd imported to transfer cleanly to the left hand side where the readings are done as it is just becomes a muddled mess with the pic already there. However there is a way to clear the pic and have only the imported photo. But this still doesn't generate a reading as one must choose the features offered by the program before the software can recognise personality types. The imported photo only works as a guide for your choice of features.

I emailed the tech help of this program about the non-reading of a photo problem before I posted my review, and I soon
received back this answer:

'On left panel there is photorobot (sketch).
To clear it:

But on right panel there is photo.
When you 'pressed the arrow on the bottom of picture to transfer into the
space on the left', it only combines jpg and sketch
but does not recognize face. You need to compose sketch on left panel
yourself.'

With all this information on how to correctly work the program, you could have quite some fun with it. I give it a definite thumbs up.

I have a book from my great grand father on phrenology (reading the bumps on your head to determine personality characteristics). The book has a great forward written by a U.S. Supreme Court Justice extolling the "accuracy" and "reliability" of this science. I shudder to think of the accused being tried by exactly this kind of ignorance. I also know of more than a few companies that rely on the pseudoscience of hand writing analysis to determine whether or not someone is hired.

While these kinds of offers always say they are for fun only, some fool will abuse them believing that they are an actual working tool. I think I'll pass on this garbage. There are already too many idiots and fools walking around and I really don't want to waste any more of my time on this kind of stupidity.

I installed from April 2012 version given away here. I have not been scammed and had no virus infections, etc. This is a FUN program for use at a party with friends. Worth a try if you are into stuff like this. Worth 20 bucks of laughs; I don't know how scientific it is ---- prolly not so much science involved, although it did pickup some traits from one or two of friends I know very well. Good for punking people. :)

Useful as a means of choosing a significant other, employee, financial advisor, or guru?? Probably not so much.

Useful as entertainment? A *diversion*, perhaps, but seriously entertaining? Uh, no.

But suppose you need to create a fictional world; populated with interesting folks who might *just* be real. With this offering, now you've got a visual representation of these folks and you've got a believable personality profile ...

NOW all you need is an interesting set of circumstances to house the characters you develop here, put all this down on paper and ...

Bob (as they say) is your uncle.

One question: how do you know the registration code was accepted? Even after you put it in the registration box, registration is still an option and it only says it was offered by GOTD.
Thanks!

This brings back memories! This looks to be one of the original Identi-Kits software packs we used in law enforcement back in the mid to late 80s when pc's were first becoming standard. Prior to this you either had to have an artist draw the perp's description or use the old stencil kit and attempt to piece it all together.

Quite obviously this has been altered to include the long debunked science of measuring head spacing and then determining traits, but it's harmless fun else-wise.

Of note, it installs just fine but it has something of a snag in the registration process. Although it never really asks you to register after you enter the serial number, the area to enter it never goes away and almost appears as if it's asking again. If you go to the "About" section you'll see it's registered to GOTD.

This is a ' fun ' application, so not serious at all. Physiognomy, it’s all bunkum anyhow
Police already have their OWN identikit stuff.
Probably someone wants to make serious money out of this. They're not going to. It's too tedious to operate being all manual, confusing screen, and when all is said and done, this programme considers only Three Characteristics.

Tried it, but deleted.

In the future Facial recognition will do all this Physiognomy, maybe. Voice recognition probably started out this way, too.
