The program installed and ran but there are several issues:
I cannot see how to register: it didn't ask during install and I see no way to register in the program
I have a desktop icon but it does not appear when entering "cutout" in the start menu
Can anyone help me?

Trying to register program. Copy the reg code and paste into the into the required box, but sign says pasted from clipboard. Unfortunately my clipboard is not working so I just paste the code in to the box, but the activate key remains greyed out. I have tried to get clipboard working, it says its working but the reg code is not pasted to the clip board. Surely I should be able to paste or type the reg code in and get the program registedred? What can I do, only 4 hours until the programme cannot be registerd.

Gordon, regretfully, I see your post too late. If copy and paste does not work, you can always type the code by hand. Remember this tip for next time. This programme is given away regularly. So bide your time.

Last year offer was Cutout 7 with file size 34,7 MB. Now Cutout 8 file size 649 MB! Why so big, what is the difference? Took half hour to download now.

The install did not seem to go as smoothly as normal and I am not sure if it activated successfully. I tried to look under About to see if it said it was a full activated program but that did not seem to work. How can I verify the program is activated and not a trial version.

Richard Woodley, I closed the program and when I restarted it, The activation window popped up again. Usually the code was wanted before you even installed the program. That's OK I bought Cutout 5 back in 2016. I will just continue using that.

Richard Woodley, < ''How can i verify the program is activated and not a trial version.'' ?< you ask that, so, in al programs, up in menu is help, go and clik help, after click > About program (name), al software have that in menu> Help, About , if program is full and if is activated corect, in About program you see tbat, if program is in trial version you see and that, and in Help exist an register zone for know if program have a corect licence or not - if is in trial version you receive one litle window box where must to insert licence data -> for test is simple > install program first, insewrt licence or activate licence online, restart PC after that, put in off your internet, after that go in Windows in Control Panel and change real curent dat - change with a future data - or example change with 22-december-2023, now start program > if program is in full activation you not receive error or one box to inset licence - if is trial = you receive messagge in this sense ! - after this test, change in PC real time data, put internet in ON, restart PC < this test is avaible for all programs to know if program work with all functions in full version.

Franzis software is always worthwhile to download from here, especially as the always offer a lifetime I licence, and the quality is the highest.
I have version 7 from GOTD. Should I uninstall it first or install over top.

Richard Woodley, it should allow to install on top of the previous version. Both versions will work.
The best thing about Franzis is that it allows to install softwares again in future, if for example computer is upgraded or re-installed. As long as the keys are saved.

Chris, have a look at the readme.tx file which is included with the zip file you downloaded. it will explain it to you there. (There is a link to connect you to their website, fill in your email address and they will send you the code).

Chris, Use the link in the readme.txt. You will get a registration code which is also the serial number in an email. The program will ask you for the code when you start it after installation.
