Dear users,
If after running the Setup.exe file the installation process does not start, try disabling your anti-virus suite. This a false-positive reaction to the protection system that we use to protect the installation files agains unauthorised access after the end of the giveaway.
If you get the 'files are corrupt' error, that means that your anti-virus system has damaged the installation files. In the case, use the following workaround:
1) disable the anti-virus suite and restart the computer. You need to disable all the anti-virus systems if you have more than one installed. Make sure it won't start automatically upon the system boot.
2) download the program archive once again and extract the contents to a dedicated folder
3) Carefully follow the installation instructions in the readme.txt file.
Make sure you switch your anti-virus back on after the installation. Please mind that all the files are checked for viruses beforehand, so you may rest assured, the installation is 100% safe.

Chrome browser running in the secure platform of our program without problems. But before running it inside the platform, you should exit it if it worked before launching Covert Pro. Some programs can not simultaneously run inside and outside the platform.

It would be nice to know a little more about the developers behind the software, since this is a new software and especially since GOTD is advising us to disable our own system's protections to install this product. Who are the developers and what other (reputable) products have they created in the past?
Does GOTD indeed have all the expertise needed to test that this software is purely for the customer's benefit and will not install any backdoors in my system??

Will this program will help removing spyware that come with "attachments"? I read an article that one should never open any attachments because keyloggers can get in. I opened an attachment (on my other computer) and now I regretted it, I don't trust this person anymore, so I want to know if Covert will block the keyloggers that people send inside their "attachments"? If I download this program, can I freely open any Email attachment? Thank you!

COVERT Pro can block the launch of any application inside a secure platform if you set the mode to 2. But it does not analyze incoming mail. If you already have a spyware installed on your computer, you can find and remove it using built-in monitors.

I downloaded this at the last GOTD. It works great. I have Win 7 64bit using IE 11. I tried a test using Covert Pro. I use outlook/Hotmail. You know when you shop for stuff or search with google, you soon receive adds for what you looked at in the advertisement section next to your email page. In my test looked for routers using Covert pro, and I looked at least 6 different sites selling routers. I exited Covert pro and returned to using my email. NO adds, nothing relating to my search for routers. I tried the test again, and No adds!!! Covert pro really allows for privacy...Love it!

Installed and registered without any problem. After adding "Opera" 64 bit and Microsoft Edge" and running the big "Login To Secure Platform" I can't get Opera or Microsoft Edge to run inside the software?
Any suggestions? Everything else seems to run fine in it that I have tried though.

I seem to be confused. There is a readme text file, the setup.exe file, and the setup.gcd file. I opened the .exe setup, and it just activated something without installing the program.
I can assume the .gcd file is what installs the program, but there are no default Windows programs that support this file type. Can there be instructions for this so I can install the program?

Running setup will give you a notice that the program has been installed, but there is no desktop shortcut or program that I can find on my rig.
I believe that's what @Frustrated is referring to!
I think COVERT needs to re-check the files.

I've downloaded the proggram via email link. and when i extract the files i get an read me file wich contains the activition key AND setup Wich gives me AGAIN activation key but not THE PROGRAM ITSELF now what can i do whit activition key only??? ughhh

You need to run the installer to install the program. After installing the program, run it. Click on the Registration button. In the opened window, you will see that the universal registration key is entered already. Click on the button "Register". For program registration you do not need to enter the key, since it is already in the registration field.

The ZIP contains the installer, and if you run Setup.exe, the program is correctly installed. However, the installed does NOT add the usual shortcuts in your start menu, and if you have unticked the option to create a shortcut on the desktop, the only way to launch it is to open "C:\Program Files (x86)\COVERT Pro AE" and manually launch Protection.exe. This installation problem is of course a problem, but that doesn't mean that the program itself is bad. And, of course, you can create yourself a shortcut in your start menu.
The program is a sort of sandbox. I prefer the free version of Sandboxie, a very good sandbox tool, but this one might be good too.

I took what you said and went to my programs folder to see if it installed but didn't display the shortcut. It does not seem to be the case even when I search the entire hard drive.

Frustrated, The first thing you have to do is disable your anti-virus programs. then run the .exe file, the gcd file works with the .exe file to assist in the registration.
I have found that gotd downloads that have a .gcd file in them that this is a requirement just to get the program installed. You will still have to go through the registration process.
AND DO NOT FORGET TO TURN YOUR ANTI_VIRUS PROGRAM(S) BACK ON!!
