After allowing USB debugging to allow the software to function, it appeared to copy my Contacts list but there didn't seem to be a way to save the list to my computer. This is essential for this software to be of value. If there is a way to store your contacts on your computer please advise.

Regarding saving the contacts to your computer, here’s a quick guide:
1. After the software scans your device, make sure you’ve selected the contacts you want to save. You can usually select all contacts, or choose specific ones.
2. Once your contacts are selected, click the Recover button. A dialog box should appear, asking you where you want to save the contacts.
3. Select a folder on your computer where you'd like to store the contacts.

It's asking for me to activate USB debugging. Is that normal?

Dennis, Yes, that is normal. USB debugging needs to be enabled on your Android device in order for the software to communicate with it and perform the recovery process. It's a standard requirement for many Android data management tools. Here’s how you can enable USB debugging:

Go to your phone’s Settings.
Scroll down and tap on About phone.
Find and tap Build number 7 times to unlock Developer options.
Go back to the main Settings screen, and tap on Developer options.
Enable USB debugging from there.

Once it's activated, the software should be able to connect to your device and proceed with the recovery.
