Very large zip files which kept failing before browser download finished. Finally they successfully downloaded after using a download manager, though because it was 20gb took several hours.

After unzipping each file I skimmed through the folders, the images filenames are prefaced with several Chinese characters followed by numbers - there is no descriptive names so you have to either set folder view to extra large or open an image in a preview/viewer program to know what is what.

The images for the most part are very repetitive with most images being a slightly different version on a theme. Most of the images are variations of snowglobes, wreaths, ribbons, snowy cabins, snowy old trucks, lanterns, fireplaces and inexplicably, mushrooms.

They were all obviously made by AI. From a distance they look like very festive colourful illustrations, but when looked at closer the usual AI image creation problems are there on a good portion of them. We get three-legged doves, fragments that sprout from impossible places, objects that are just jibberish and are meant to be who knows what. The worst is the disturbing human faces that look like a cross between the classic Twilight Zone episode where people who are traditionally seen as beautiful are seen as disfigured, Lovecraft and the man with no face from Sapphire & Steel.

There are plenty of images that are fine and don't have those AI quirks, but als, there are, to me, far too many that are repeated but with only a slight difference, the ribbon is the same but part of it has changed from green to blue - that sort of thing.

Overall, I like the collection. I do wish the publisher Amazing-Share had culled the bad AI images and not used so many 'repeats' that to me seem like unnecessary padding. The use of AI is certainly cheaper and quicker than a human, but humans have more originality and depth of understanding. In short. AI is a fun toy, but for now at least, graphic designers, writers and other creative people are far superior. The effort, expression and art of people should be encouraged and treasured as the wonderful thing it truly is. AI has a place, I think, but used as a one of a number of tools, not as a human replacement.

For all its faults this package still has a lot of nice images that could be used to make greeting cards, posters, etc. The files are .pngs and have transparent 'backgrounds'. For those feeling crafty the images could be made into decals for mugs, candles, window stickers, etc; transfers for fabrics such as tshirts, bags, napkins, cushion covers and more. The images can be utilised in a multitude of fun ways - just check for quirks first unless that's the look you're going for - a cheeky nod to Dali or Hieronymus Bosch.

My thanks to Amazing-Share for this GOTD offering. Much appreciated.

The download of these files is EXTREMELY slow. It has taken over 8 hours to download 1/2 (5) of the files in the library. Is there a better link to use for download, or are you going to extend the offer another day or two so the whole library can be downloaded?

Thanks giver.
This will take some time and could try your patience.
Long download, 10 files, so ≈ 2 Gig per file. Stopped downloading after 922 MB.
Now trying for the fourth time ...

Thank you -

But, I don't really understand the download process - 1 zip file and then 10 more zip files to open?

taking a ton of time to open even the first. Might have to skip tho I was excited.
:/

Thank you for the images. Unfortunately, using a browser does not work. It takes forever to download and then it stops in the middle. So, you'll need a file downloader. Each zip file is about 2 GB. The images are of very good quality, suitable size for various purposes.

Parts 1-4 are downloading at 50 kilobits per second, but part 5 isn't downloading at all. Please upload the files to another location, like Google Drive.

it;s too big, we are on public-assisted wifi, we do not have that luxury of bandwidth to download. Thank you, guess it's a gift for the privileged few. Even if we want to get a few pictures, we won't be able to down all the zip files to zigsaw puzzle them together. :(

I'm sure the pack is great, but the server is woefully inadequate to handle the number of people trying to download it.
