Interferes big time with using win 10. Hard fight to uninstall. Don't believe their instructions

Christmas Elf is cute app that adds Christmas animations to your Windows desktop while optionally playing Christmas music, with several options when you right click the icon in the notification area of the taskbar & click settings. It takes up about 85 MB in the program’s folder, with a C:\Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Roaming\ Pothos\ folder added to store your settings. You get 2 new keys in the registry, one for uninstall, & one Pothos key for the app.

Now if this were Elf Bowling, remember those days, then I'd be all in! :)
I wish it was offered a couple of weeks ago however.

Well this software should only be useful during Christmas time, so I'm guessing it's not worth using long term.

Muxa S.,
Try following the instructions in the readme.txt file especially the part below the long dotted line where it starts off with the word >>> Important:
-In the meantime, delete what you've already downloaded. The damaged >> ChristmasElf26-sb28kl.zip
-Temporarily disable your antivirus software. After that, download the zip archive again
(Note: If your using MSE or Windows Defender, all you need to do is disable "Real Time Protection")
-Extract the zip file either to your desktop or create a new folder and extract all three files into that.
-Click on the Setup.exe file to install the software and when it is done, delete the three extracted files
-Turn your antivirus software back on again and you should be good for the go.
