Outback Idaho, it cannot capture playing audio unless you have an recording device like stereo mixer or something similar. It relies upon ancient encoding and capture APIs. Modernish windows 7 and above requirements are due to the inclusion of a copy of FFMPEG.EXE in a subfolder of the loggeed in users documents folder and not due the use of modern APIs like WASAPI.

Hans Oellers, I can see no update available. However, the readme file we have downloaded in the package clearly states there are no free upgrades, so I am convinced the answer is no.

Hans Oellers, It reset my copy to evaluation mode. If you want to try it then keep the original installer so you can uninstall and reinstall.
