You probably should correct the "Optimiztion" typo in your display screen. The dissolves when changing function look very snazzy but I suspect could become tedious if processing a lot of images.

I installed and registered but when opening on W7 64 bit ultimate, the program does not start --- it gets an unrecoverable error.

Can't activate program because the window can't be resized so I can't see the activate button. Really annoying when program windows can't be resized. What's wrong with putting a menu selection at the top?

Stunning. Very impressive software. I'm using a Win10 Professional x64 PC and have received no warnings. One of the best GiveAways ever.

1 Year, thanks. Hard pass. Even if does offer yearly renewals via freebie offers sites why bother. Again another bender of the expression 'free'.

Been trying this program for an hour, batch optimization is possible, look at the first screenshot with the bird here on this page, on the right hand side on top you will see it says "Batch optimization", do not believe ppl saying you can´t batch optimize, its not true. I tried to optimize a huge .jpeg and ir reduced it from 500Kb to around 200Kb, it works very well.

My only complaints are that you need an email address to register the program and the software hasn´t been digitally signed with Microsoft keys, you get a warning in Windows 10 saying that it comes from "unknow sources". But the program works as advertised, it does what they say it does and it is very easy to use.

Firstly: I dislike programs that force you to upload photos. No batch operation possible.
Secondly: uploaded a 4.2 MB jpg file with 85% compression. Got back an optimized file with 4.1 MB, 86 % compression
So whats the point ?
Uninstal.

Konrad, The program allows for batch operation, you probably missed the tab. Anyway it is mentioned in the description too that batch operation is possible.

this program strips the EXIF rendering it rather useless

Uh, NO - many of us WANT our private, personal exif data removed from public view. Your comment is useless.

The best way to reduce the size of jpg/png is to convert it to webp. for example using XnConvert. WebP files can be viewed in many image viewers, including FastStone Viewer.
For example: a folder with a hundred jpg files, occupying 300MB, after conversion to WebP (compression 4, quality 80%, no quality loss is noticeable compared to the original jpg) takes about 60-80 MB on the disk.
Try to get this result with today's program ^_^

@ galobun,

FastStone Viewer will not display WEBP files in Windows 7, only in Windows 10 (implemented in version 7.1 of FastStone). Therefore, what I do is convert WEBP files to JPG or PNG using Irfanview. And then I use the wonderful "Black Bird Image Optimizer" to compress them to almost the same size as WEBP files (just slightly larger, but real good, nonetheless). This is one handy and effective use of Black Bird for those users who haven't yet upgraded to Windows 10.

galobun, I just made a test with XNConvert as well as Irfanview and converted a 85% compressed jpg file to a 85% webp file. The jpg file was 4.2 MB, the webp file has a similar size. You may wish to recheck your settings.

galobun, I refuse to use anything from "Google", I simply convert to jpg.

For programmers and web developers using Visual Studio, there is an excellent free add-on/extension (search for image optimizer) that does the same thing directly in the IDE. I downloaded today's give away, but it remains to be seen how often / if I will use it.

Tim Owers, yup, that's the one :-)

For my needs, I am yet to find something better.
