Looks beautiful on my notebook's 3840x2160 display with 4GB nVidia graphics (although I don't know at the moment if the Intel or the nVidia chip is in control).
However, I notice that the mouse/touchscreen cursor now lags behind where I am directing it, which make for awkward pointing accuracy if there is no application window covering up most of the Desktop.
When there IS something onscreen covering up (most of) the Desktop, such as my browser as I type this comment, then the cursor tracking speed is OK (fast enough).
Apparently this uses up some fairly significant resources of some type when a "full screen complement" (i.e., fully exposed desktop showing the entire animated wallpaper) of the onscreen positions of "celestial objects" are being updated to make this pretty animation.
It would be nice for an update to address this situation. I'm still a happy camper, though! Thanks!

Too bad this program doesn't allow to make my own.

I have Bitdefender, but this program downloaded, passed the security scan, and installed without any issues. On installation it asked if I wanted to install the screensaver option; I declined, but it can be easily enabled later (see below).
I use it as a background: I run it, pick the background I want, then minimize it to enjoy the show. Of course, when you actually close it out, it no longer resides in the tray.
Personally, I find the six choices to be all quite nice and a well-rounded selection. This is definitely a keeper!
Finally, for those that install it without enabling it as screensaver but later want to, it's quite easy to do:
settings > personalization > lock screen > screen saver settings
then select "Beautiful Space 3D Screensaver" using the 'screensaver' dropdown, pick your settings, and hit 'apply'.

Not good.
Worked fine in a VM. Soon as I put it on my main pc with 2 monitors (nvidia gtx 760 latest driver) it crashes after about 2 seconds. "PUSH Live Wallpaper has stopped working" Not disabling my second monitor to see if it fixes it. On Windows 10. Core i3-3220, 6GB Ram, GTX 760, 2 Displays

Screen goes white - blue color scheme flashes - screen back to white. Will not run as screensaver or wallpaper.
Any thoughts?

Platform Update KB2670838 is an optional download from Microsoft which appears to be intended to allow Internet Explorer 10 run on Windows 7. This article from cNet has some information, though it can cause hangups and crashes on some computer systems (sadly, a recurring theme with Microsoft content nowadays), so download with caution.

WOW !!!!!!
For many years I was delighted with EarthDesk as my "live" desktop wallpaper.
Now, for the first time, I have another wonderful alternative.
Thanks GAOTD gang and PUSH Entertainment !!!!
This is a well thought out implementation.
Installs in seconds and is ZERO hassle to adjust and understand.
It can span all your monitors to create a central focus and has intensity adjustments for both your shortcuts as well as the intensity of the effect itself.
It is running as I write this and it's a bit hypnotic.
(blue star field is my favorite)
I LOVE IT & I think you will too.
As for suggestions to the developer ?
Almost none, except to say perhaps a bigger effect display library ?
However, that's NOT a negative.

1 bit pointed out: "It sits in the tray"
Spot on 1bit !!
That could easily be considered an unacceptable oversight by the developer.
This "sitting in the tray" thing needs to be resolved pronto!

I can not get this program to even unzip. It goes straight to "successfully activated". And it is not even on my computer. How do I get this program to unzip so I can extract all the files?????
Save | Cancel
Elizabeth Schmidt, how could you not get this to unzip but get it activated?
Save | Cancel
Elizabeth Schmidt,
You need to unzip manually then pause your antivirus program to install.

Elizabeth Schmidt, I've had this same problem with all GOTD offerings for a while now; I assume it's related to a Win10 update. I can extract the files to another folder, but when I try to run, it goes right to "successfully activated" with no installation. It would be nice for the GOTD folks to revisit their delivery package.

Hi everybody. :-)
GAOTD users reported problems with these antiviruses/firewalls, in past months/years: Avast, Avg, BitDefender, Comodo, Kaspersky, Norton/Symantec, pados.hu TinyWall, Zemana antilogger/antimalware.
By the way, ALL the antivirus engines that are problematic for some GAOTD users, showed NO PROBLEMS on virustotal, metadefender, jotti, virscan.
If you have one of those AV, you could try these possible solutions:
1) If the package has been correctly downloaded, right-click it, click properties and:
- Win8, 8.1, 10 users --> tick/select the unblock checkbox, click apply, click ok.
- WinXP, vista, 7 --> click the unblock button, click apply, click ok.
2) If the package has been correctly downloaded, put the setup.exe and the setup.gcd (or their entire folder) in the whitelist of your antivirus.
For Norton AV: open the application, go into Security, find the problem file, click on the hard-to-see Options at the bottom of the box, once there, you can choose to exclude this file, go ahead and open it.
3) Disable the real-time/on-access scanning, just the time to download/install the software (then re-enable that function).
4) Disable your AV completely, just the time to download/install the software (then re-enable it).
5) Boot windows in safe mode with networking, just the time to download/install the software (sometimes this is necessary with kaspersky antivirus).

ew, This has been a frequent problem for many of us GAOTD users for several weeks now. For unknown reasons, a downloaded program will appear to be setting up, but it doesn't -- it just goes to a 'congratulations, you've installed it' page. Many of us have learned we have to disengage our anti-virus program before setup OR reboot in Safe Mode With Networking in order to use Setup. I have no idea why this has started happening; it is a real annoyance.

crap - has about 6 options and will only run as a program, if you close it the background is gone... you have to minimize it to tray....lol

Hey 1bit,
I think "crap" might be a rather strong way to describe a dislike...
Personally, I like the star fields.
However, I was in love, till you have pointed out a VERY important fact that I missed entirely.
It sits in the tray & that could easily be considered an unacceptable oversight by the developer.

Very light on resources, when running only wdm.exe gets +1-3 cpu load percent.

Peter C1, go to Windows Update, look at your Update history (or some version of wording thereof)

For you and XP's killer ... Boss,
I think you can do this by using Control Panel (CP).
* Windows Vista, 7, 8 , 8.1 and 10
Go to CP, then choose "View by: Large icons" => Windows Updates => click on "Installed Updates" and search for "KB2670838" => if you see the search result, you won't have to install it! :D
(Simplier way: Press Win logo + R -> Type "C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{d450a8a1-9568-45c7-9c0e-b4f9fb4537bd}" in Run dialog to check for what updates are installed!)
Hope this will be helpful :3
