DID NOTHING
Decided to try it out on a PDF file which I had transferred from the left side to the right side.
I ran it replacing and with AND as a test, it attempted to change those on the left side also.
Fortunately failed to change anything.
It was the most ill mannered install I have ever seen, extracting to God knows where as soon as I pressed the setup.
The interface can only be described as hideous, certainly for older eyes, obviously it confused me when it unexpectedly attempted to change the files in the left the box.
It claimed it was unable to change them because of files were too large, they were normal sized PDF files.
Didn't try on Docx files as I don't have an up-to-date MS office suite.
Quite frankly if they paid me $69 to use it, I wouldn't take it as it is hideous in every way.

WORTH NOTING:
"Microsoft Word 2007 or later must be installed for the program to handle non-DocX formats! If Microsoft Word 2007 or later is not installed, the program will only be able to work with DocX documents."
I use Word 2003, so I guess the program will not work for me...

Does that mean it won't process PDFs?
If so, I guess that explains why I can't get it to do anything on a PDF.

I just went to the home page listed in the blue rectangle on the upper right of this page and read through the descriptions (very extensive). What I wrote was simply a quote from there. You may want to write the developer to ask.....
