If I am not wrong, the chief benefit of this programme (if it works!) may be that it can look inside whole bunches of files and quickly identify key words -- which may allow you to pull them out for inspection, so you can find all the files with such topics.
Since I do not know of any FREE programmes to search for text INSIDE files (please correct me if I am wrong) I think I may find the programme useful, just for that -- ie. SEARCH, but not replacing (if it will allow you to do that).
If it does, and nobody else comes up with the name of a free programme that will look inside all your .doc, docx and .rtf files (at least), then I may well use it.
Mind you, the comments so far have not been very encouraging... so I am prepared to be disappointed once I use it. I will try to get back with my own results, later....

Their website says that you have to have Office 2007 or later to open the listed types of files, or else you will only be able to open docx files. Default save format for Office 2003 is doc format, and docx for Office 2007, so why would you only be able to open docx files if your Office version is PRIOR to Office 2007? Seems like it should be the other way around.... (Microsoft does provide an addin that allows Office 2003 to open docx format files.)

The product's Homepage (above, in the blue box) illustrates many of the capabilities and features via lots of animations. Almost don't need a help file!
However, as was written by Janet back on July 17, 2016 when this title was last offered (the Publisher link, also in the blue box), from their product web page:
"Microsoft Word 2007 or later must be installed for the program to handle non-DocX formats! If Microsoft Word 2007 or later is not installed, the program will only be able to work with DocX documents."
So perhaps this is a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to execute MS Word macros. Nothing wrong with that, the capabilities are very extensive (including background operation, manual mode, triggered/scheduled processing, conditional processing & flow branching, hierarchical action sequencing, change document page size and/or layout, use of regular expressions, etc.), and they offer customization services if your requirements are not met by this standard version.
I can think of many uses for this type of software in the fields of education, government, legal, real estate, etc., where "boilerplate" documents could be automatically edited-customized (or older "inherited" documents updated/"recycled"). But for a non-professional/non-business home user perhaps the applications and need for today's offer are more limited.
I think they could have done a better job, on this GOTD page, of describing their product and explaining why we should want it. (Actually, this is true of most offers here!)
Thanks, though, BinaryMark and GOTD, for making me aware of your product.

On my first test with PDFs this program just told me to buy Batch Docs, on my second test with a word file it did not find any data even thought I used cut and paste.
My result: de-installed.

This looks like what I have been looking for. Seems very complete. A little pricey though.
But: How is it activated, or is activation automatic on installation?

Does anyone know if this will batch remove watermarks in PDF files or if there is an option to run it from the command line?

After installing the program, About in Help Menu says that it expires after 373 days.
Is this correct?

Gururaj, from the description "Please note: the license is provided for 1 year." it's even a bit more than that.
