One thing this lacks is the ability to produce compressed WAV files. One cannot specify the codec used to generate the WAV file with it defaulting to PCM uncompressed. There are several possible codecs that can be enclosed in a WAV file including MP3 IMADPCM ADMPCM and various other codecs. Also in the output format settings not all options are relevant or even valid for all codecs. Other than that this is legally distributing and using FFMPEG.EXE by providing the source they use and building it with LGPLv3 switches enabled.

TK, this can also be made to run under XP and Vista by replacing the supplied FFMPEG.EXE with one of the XP and Vista compatible builds that are out there and can be found using any major search engine. You'll likely need to use the portable distribution not the installer for use on XP as the installer is built with a newer version of Inno installer compiler that generates setup files requiring NT 6.0 or Vista to install.

This is one of those programs that does what it says. I ran a test and converted 169 MP3s to Wav and it did it in less than 10 seconds. This is a keeper.
