WHOOPEE - This is the first audio recorder of many I have tested on my laptop that actually works! The others would fail to find the audio stream coming out of my headphone jack. This records everything I can hear.
However, I noticed random sound glitches in the audio, that is, very brief tic sounds that seem to occur randomly. I have turned off my microphone and only have audio playback enabled from one driver, so there should not be interference coming from other sources.
If i could see the sound waveform, i expect the glitches would appear as sharp spikes in the trace. Can anyone suggest a cause?
Also note if I record from a CD there are no glitches?

My last post was a little ambiguous: manual entry of the key did not work for me...

Thanks for the Lifetime License and for providing a serial number in the readme file making it extremely easy to install!
Does what it says and I appreciate the choices of bitrate since I have a "secret weapon" audio program that only accepts .wav files at 44,100 Hz.
Very timely offer for me as well since, for some inexplicable reason, my copy of Audacity just stopped recognizing my audio components and no longer records (even after a clean reinstall). So thanks again and good luck with your efforts.

Lacks some desirable options, but does what it claims to do very well. When I first tried it out I was attempting to record to an external hard drive directly, and it didn't like that...left me with a very choppy recording. Once I switched to recording directly to my hard drive it worked perfectly. This is going to be a very useful tool for me, thank you.
