I have been coming to giveawayoftheday for maybe twenty years now?
It has become rarer for me to install the offerings.
It has become even more rare for me to keep what I've installed.
I offered a helpful comment to Audials Vision 2025 SE, because I did install it with intent - I have much video from pre-digital and pre-high definition days, and thought this could maybe improve those clips.
I have a Ryzen7 PC with Nvidia 1080 11Gb Cuda graphics.
The SE version of this software installed and registered without issue.
I tried to use it but was hit with the following restrictions:-
output to WEBM format without upgrading
Limit to the upscaling algorithms available without upgrading
Limit to the frame interpolation available without upgrading
Limit to the clip duration without upgrading.
When I closed the app, I was unable to restart it - an error concerned with Procedure Entrypoint.
With that I uninstalled it. Life is too short for hurdles.

First everything looked fine. This is the first Audials Vision that comes with a full installer and the program started well and definitly did more than the previous versions. But then the drawback, on my Windows 8.1 64bit only 1 video optimization method works, supposed to be the fastest one and the worst.
The the upscaled preview of a short testvideo looked less blocky, not bad, but not sharper in any way, no details were added, and color did not change.
All other models state that my graphics card is too slow and refuse work. In the options of most models you can change support to CUDA (supported by my Nvidia graphics card with 2GB). The large 1,8GB sized addon needed for CUDA support downloaded but did not install properly without any further comment, it is also needed for audio optimization, so the audio-ai is also not working.

This software definitly lacks any documentation. In the detailed settings it is trial and error only. The output format is locked to WEBM and let you chose every other format only to bring you a buy advertisment which I find is a disguising behaviour. It is also totally unclear what exaclty is different from this SE version to the full version of Audials Vision 2025. I hope they can and they are willing to fix it, because the program over all looks very promising. Last thing to mention is that other similar AI programs run fine on my system.

Upscaling doesn't work. Attempt to upscale video from 460p to 960p failed. Used Sirius option. The resulting video was heavily interrupted by black screens.

Have the full version of Audials One 2024 installed, and have used it (or an earlier version) a handful of times to record videos.
Downloaded this '25 SE Vision to see how the Resolution Increase worked. Admittedly have only had time to look at a handful of their provided Sample Files: Original, and Upscaled 2x using 2 of the different upscale options, but if there is any improvement it is too subtle for my eyes to distinguish. YMMV.

As far as I can tell, I registered this software correctly. I already had an Audials account and I logged into it.

This version doesn't really seem to do anything. It's like it's just an advertisement to pay for an upgrade. Everything I try to do just says "the selected output format is not available in this version. upgrade to the full version to take full advantage of this feature."

So unless you want to create a "good quality" webm output file, don't bother. Why get software to enhance video when you can only create low res outputs in formats that need to be converted?

PS - Just a reminder that GOTD downloads do not always play well with VPNs. If you get a 404 as I did first attempt, try turning off your VPN.

This certainly is promising a lot more than what I need which is to brighten up dull videos a bit. I think it is worth a try.

This would definitely be more enticing with some examples, especially video.

This version seems to be limited to only webm output files.
