ran program and made an account, first video to try it failed, tried a different video and it says it has a maximum length of 7 minutes, thought this was the full version?

too buggy for me... I won't list them all that I experienced, thankfully the uninstaller does remove the downloaded AI models when uninstalling so it does not leave those files lying around. Note it only produces .webm video outputs and in my tests they were not complete videos just a frame or two. upscaled but not improved and was very slow at processing the video not processing video as a stream but on a frame by frame basis with viewable pauses in task managers GPU performance view. It does not maximise the use of the available hardware at all.

Lots of features and configuration options promised, but after creating a mandatory audials account to activate this software, you bump into the fact that with this special edition you can not transcode videos into high quality H.264. H.265 is not even offered.
The only video transcode option offered is WebM. If you wish to use any other format, this software will ask you to buy the full version.
Just like many other apps in this category, each time you want to try different options for transcoding, you will have to download a new model. Some of those models come close to 1GB download.
Its one of those “freemium” crippled apps that you play around for a couple of minutes and then uninstall and delete the installer because of the lack of transcode options and restrictions.
Thank you GAOTD for this offer, but it was ultimately disappointing.

I have and Audials account and downloaded the program but not sure how to activate it. When I attempted to select and output format, they were all unsupported. Can anyone provide assistance?

Dennis Comito, I had to delete and re-install to get to the activation screen. My first attempt was with a 1955 8mm home movie I had converted to an MP4 video. I ran that through the software and used the upgrade option and, although the output options were very limited without purchasing the program, I used what appeared to be the only output video format option, one I've never heard of before, and put the video through the software. I really do wish the software had a split screen option to show the original because the new output to determine if the program's ability to improve the quality was worth the cost.

The files I wanted to use it on (.wmv) it would not work with and the one it did it wanted to install more software to work with.

Am I right in thinking this offer doesn't include a ChatGPT or any other AI licence?

Orfil , it probably uses local AI models that run on your GPU/CPU and will probably take up considerably more space than the initial installation as in all cases I've tried so far AI model data is downloaded if and when you try to use it from their servers and no extra AI license is required since it does not use cloud based AI engines.
You may find your local hardware struggling to do the computations required and take quite some time. So far none of these local models I've tried have ever maximised the computational resources available and each model focuses entirely on a single computational platform i.e. only Intel GPU or only Nvidia GPU or only 64bit CPU, so far none have been built to use ALL available computational resources in parallel so resources are usually wasted with systems with a good CPU and Intel GPU and a Nvidia GPU one has to determine which has best performing in AI processing and just stick with that.

Orfil , it uses Audials' own AI, which may be [likely is] based on one of the bigger name company's LLM, e.g., Meta, though I didn't find anything to confirm that. They list several models they can use here [towards the bottom of the page]:
