I can find no way to download or save any of the music files. I can paste Spotify playlist URLS into the program and they are displayed and ca be played, but there is no download button as I have seen on some online images of the interface. Seems like I have the same experience as many others.

Seascoot,
This is what I have found so far:
Find the song you want, and select it from the list in the middle of the program. That song will show up in the player down in the lower right corner of the window. If you place your mouse over the word "Spotify" down in the player, a green box will appear. It will have the Play icon (if song is not playing) and 3 dots. Click the 3 dots, and inside there will be an option called, "Record Audio Track".
Thanks all I have found so far, but I haven't played with it much yet either.

How to use this software for Spotify and Youtube Purposes Only.
I've only shown how to use it for Spotify, But, You do the same steps of copying the URL/Web Address and paste it to have the entire Album on the YouTube Channel (IF the YT Channel has it) or The Signal Track instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFJxaEafbXY&feature=youtu.be

So far- from the comments below I realize that the program CAN NOT do the things in the description.
Can somebody explain what the program CAN actually do?

Can someone please help me understand how this works? If I want to record something that I'm streaming from my SiriusXM app, how would I do that? Everyone keeps saying to set the Spotify playlist, but as SiriusXM is not Spotify, that obviously doesn't work.
Thanks for the help!

This appears to be the equivalent of the Audials Music component and lacks the features of the other components shown here. https://audials.com/en/products

Mine does not show a "Music Streaming" option even after activating. Giveawayoftheday says that it is supposed to stream from various services.
Save | Cancel
indyman777,
No, it does not say you can "stream from various services".
It states you can, "**Record** music from Spotify, Deezer and other streaming services, **download** it from Soundcloud and other portals, or **record** it as a private copy of internet radio streams."
You search for specific music, or provide a Spotify Playlist link to the software, etc., and it will record the stream. It _does_ have the capacity to play individual songs that you have searched for, or those that it has found, but it's main goal is not to act as an interface to allow you to stream from various services. It's main goal is to allow you to search for and record or download audio files (music, podcasts, etc.) for storage and playback on your local device(s).

Further searching found this video that shows a Standard Edition of Audials One, that appears to be the version in the giveaway. Does the standard edition not record anything?

Don, It does seem that it is not the full version. To download on this create a playlist in Spotify. Then click the 3 dots click share and select copy playlist link. Back in Audials select music, click the green drop down arrow top centre and then select import playlist from Spotify, youtube. Select import whole playlist and Paste the link you previously copied. This will then import the playlist into Audials. In the playlist are click all and select the download arrow. This will then download the tracks. Hope this helps

Installed and activated on Windows 10, but like others have no idea how to record anything. There is a Youtube video from Audials 4 months ago, but the program version in the video is not the same as the one in the giveaway.

Don,
You are looking at information for Audials One on their website, this is not that. As stated in the description above for this software, "The Audials One 2020 Edition is a subset of the flagship Audials One. The focus is on the popular music features."
If you want to know the specific details about Audials One 2020 Edition, then follow the link in the blue box at the top of this page, under the "Homepage" heading.

Same problem as a lot of folks had. Starts installing then error, installation failed. Maybe it's because I've got the 2019 version. But from all the comments I've read, I think I'll pass on this one. By the way, my Kaspersky was turned off during installation. Sounded too good to be true and I guess it was. Thanks anyway, GOTD. Thanks for all the great software in the past.

I have the same "Buy Now" issue, no activation button. Also, their website states it can download from Amazon, but I don't see that option in this version. Anyone?
Save | Cancel
Installed and logged in without issue but, as with some others, there's no option to actually download anything, only listen within the software. Watching the videos on their site has left me non-plussed, it's as if the version given away here is lacking the most important feature!
A response from the company would help several folk here having the same problem.

I also can't save to folder or burn to CD?

paul, As I have the full retail version I can't really see why theres no download option. What I can do is click the playlist or a song in the playlist and i get a menu with further options and one of those is to download. As the giveaway has now ended i am unable to test it on another PC. Sorry that I cant be of more help. The full version is worth getting though and there are quite often offers to get it at a reduced price.

It does not appear to be.

I paid for this program when it was released. It downloads everything that is on Spotify with ease. Just copy the spotify playlist url and paste it in and it downloads everything in the list. Perfect for ripping complete albums

I get the same issue as a few other community members. Whether this is because i've previously had this program for free or whether I'd done something wrong IDK?
As it stands it's useless as its not a registered version, with a constant buy button.
When I followed the instructions by installing the software first, the only form that popped up was one to input my first and last name. Nothing else, no emails or passwords. The program installed and immediately asked for money.
I'll go back to that program given away a few months ago (AudFree Spotify Music Converter), which has been a reasonable giveaway so far. Some of the albums I have so far downloaded via that program include adverts. I just have to re-download those tracks with adverts again and usually I then have the whole album without adverts.
So far I've only downloaded albums that I've previously purchased and still have on either vinyl, CD or cassette (apart from a small collection of around 50 vinyl albums and about 20 CD's that were stolen when I was at university).

Downloaded, installed, and registered with no issues. Big nag screen when opening the program, but no nags after that. There is help and tutorial information, but I just clicked around. I started with The Dead South and Audials came up with a long list of albums and songs. Most, not all, downloadable. I downloaded a copy of a song I already had to compare technical stuff. The download was quick. Audio bit rate was only 128 which might have been fine last century. (The highest audio bit rate I got during my testing was 160 - the lowest was 95)
I was encouraged so I tried The Troggs. Not so much. Fairly extensive listing, but few available downloads. I did one and the result ended up being only the left speaker.
My main music interest is 20th century classical so I turned to Vaughn Williams. Not much. I did one download and it sounded like a high school band recording in a gymnasium. No information as to who, when, and where. I tried another and it was very good and a version I hadn't heard. BUT only one movement and, again, no who, when, and where.
OK, maybe Vaughn Williams might be a bit off track (not really) so I tried Tchaikovsky. Again, very little and less was downloadable. I tried one and, again, no who, when, and where. It wasn't very good.
I tried Charles Ives. Almost nothing, but one was an Ives Society Critical Edition of Country March. Very good interpretation and playing, but - another school performance. At least the one microphone set up was in an auditorium, not a gym!
One last try. East Village Opera Company. Yes, obscure. But the album listing was, maybe, complete. Few songs were downloadable. Quality was so so.
The id tags on everything were good. There is lots of potential there. It may work very well for many folks. A google search probably works better for me.

Lighter,
Look through the setting menu (the little person/gear icon on the lower left corner next to the "Buy Now" button), as there are tons of options in there. A lot of them a buried under areas that are not very intuitive at all, so some digging is required.
I think what you would be looking for would be under the "Radio and Wish" tab. You can then select the sub area (Manage Stations) under radio. The initial setting screen in there is pretty basic, but near the bottom select "More Settings". In here you can customize the types of radios stations (Only provide full songs, best detection rate, etc.), the minimum bitrates from different file types, etc.
I can see this software is going to need some customization in order to get what I want, but hopefully this will help you and others out to achieve the results you desire.

FeMaster, Thanks for the info. I tried that this morning but didn't have any luck. It seems that there are ten times as many thrash metal stations as there are classical! I was much surprised to discover that King Crimson was a classical musician. Obviously the audience for this is different from me. Never the less, my tastes are broad and I did find a King Crimson piece I didn't have. Thrash metal? nope!

I downloaded and installed this app today (10-06-20). No errors while installing.
I then created and registered a new Audials account.
However when I click on the "Activate" button, it pops up another window telling me I have to BUY the software for $19.90!
The program runs regardless but I cant record music apart from music from radio streams. It also constantly shows a BUY NOW icon on the app all the time.
Any idea why this is happening? Is this a limitation of the free version?

Used It for several years. It will download what ever type of music you want from several stations at once. I like to copy the mp3's onto a usb stick and use it in my car for commercial free listening. I paid for the full version and it also will download video. If you like to make you own music list to listen too this is perfect.
