Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Ashampoo Undeleter 1.11 was available as a giveaway on September 20, 2018!
Ashampoo Undeleter detects and then recovers your accidentally deleted files and directories. You can also choose on which devices or partitions you would like to look for deleted files. The search is not only limited to the hard drives of your PC, but can also be carried out on external hard drives, USB flash drives, etc.
In addition to the results list of the search, the condition of the detected files is displayed too. Now you can see whether the whole or only parts of the deleted file can be recovered or whether it cannot be recovered at all. If possible, Ashampoo Undeleter recovers the deleted files and directories with just a few mouse clicks.

All file recovery apps do basically the same thing, though some have more bells & whistles, so it's easy to assume that all of these apps offer similar results and performance -- Not True.
Earlier this year I had an incident where I lost roughly 500GB worth of files, & since the drive was content only [no OS installed], I was able to use quite a few recovery apps in my quest to get everything back. Recuva, which everyone seems to promote -- I confess I've promoted it in the past -- was nowhere near the top performing app, with several doing sometimes much better. The winner, the best software in terms of results, impact on the PC while running in the background, length of time it took, and general usability, was EaseUS.
Will Ashampoo Undeleter do as well or better? I've really no idea, and honestly hope that I'll never have a reason to find out [my file loss earlier this year was a very rare occurrence]. But Ashampoo generally has quality products, so I'll install this so I have it ready in my toolbox.

Worked ok Windows 10 x64 Pro. Since have account the key was a fast popup from their site once requested upon initial stage of installation when it asks for your Ashampoo email . Can't speak for those w/o existing account who want new account.
Runs fast scan of big 2 drives, one ssd, other hd. A few options to limit search to just one find (thus avoids duplicates if only need 1 recovered file). Can turn off display of results with icon showing - faster. Doesn't seem to have a way to restrict search to just a specific folder (s) but it did whole sdd less than a minute and even found recycle bin files. Lists the state of file as to poor, good, etc. Option to avoid showing results of any damaged files that wouldn't produce a decent recovery so why bother.
All in all it's one to have just in case others don't find "the one". Course always best to run soon as realize a boo boo and control-z or the explorer reversal/go back button fails.
Thanks GOTD.

It would be nice if it could be unzipped and installed. Mine says : Windows can not complete the extraction. Destination file could not be created.
I have tried 4 times and they all come out the same.

Requested Ashampoo account password reset, so far no response. Don't really expect one.
