Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 2022 is the simple and fastest way to edit photos in a single click. Photos are auto-analyzed and all potential weaknesses regarding lighting, color temperature and contrasts detected. Afterwards, a special algorithm recreates each photo–with optimal results. Even mediocre shots will suddenly appear more vibrant and harmonious.

Common issues like lack of contrast or noise are also fixed in one go. But no photo editor would be complete without the classic features like color, brightness, contrast, and gamma manipulation. You can also freely crop, rotate and resize your photos.

It's pretty effective app. I'm happy to grab it in time.

Ashampoo always has good quality software, good tech support and as a German Company, follows EU privacy laws.

A few things to consider about Ashampoo. When you register with them, they keep track of your serial numbers. If you purchase programs from them, you can download the install files. But on a give away, they don't maintain the files. If you want to install any programs at a later date, you better keep the give away installation file.

After you install any Ashampoo program, open up the notification tab. If you do not want to receive emails, uncheck all the items and save your preference.

Downloaded and installed fine but when I tried to open the program, I got a message saying "A Windows component caused an error. Please contact our support team." How do I fix that? Thank you!

So you would advise against trying to install it over an earlier version? I should uninstall it first?

I already have a previous GOTD version of this program from 2018 . . . Should I uninstall it before installing the newer version, or will it install right over the older prorgam?

AndreR, Uninstall.
If you have an account with Ashampoo, the version you are using now will appear under "Licenses". If you still prefer the one you're using now, you can always reinstall that version as the license number is stored.

It was my understanding that once I uninstall it the license will no longer work because it was a GOTD offer.

AndreR, AShampoo is one that saves all your serial numbers - the one and only - I've reinstalled a few over the years- even to different computers. And yes- I've bought from them too- so maybe they are smart enough to see that!!
