Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Ashampoo Burning Studio 2022 was available as a giveaway on February 19, 2022!
Ashampoo Burning Studio 2022 is a powerful disc burning software for CD, DVD and Blu-ray discs. The software quickly burns files, audio and video to all recordable disc types but also specialized media such as BDXL or M-Disc. The built-in disc ripping auto-detects track names and easily turns audio files into custom audio discs complete with individually designed covers and inlays. Playlists can be auto-generated during ripping for easy playback in the desired song order. The program can also finalize discs to make them playable on older retail players or car radios.
Windows 10/ 11; RAM: 2 GB
81.5 MB
Lifetime
$29.99
Not certain if anyone will read this post - but I am really frustrated I did not use this offer.
I read about this software after the giveaway and realized that it is an audio organizer, editor, mp3 splitter/editor, converter, audio extractor for ring tones...well I could go on but next time this comes up, I highly recommend getting it!! Otherwise go to the website and try out the free version!

I've been using Ashampoo software long before the giveaway project started back in 2006 and have neve rhad any issues with the software. As someone else has mentioned, they give away most of their software once it's got a newer version. For example when v2022 was released I got v2021 for free; same with most of their other software.
I've used the same registration account since first buying software from them around 1999.
It's well worth the effort of creating an account.

Whiterabbit-uk, Then can you assist me in setting up a new account?
Save | Cancel
Whiterabbit-uk, Fully agree. I also have been using Ashampoo software for many years, some free, some I've bought, including the latest burning studio 23. If not free their products are often on sale, and seem to work well.

Casey , install the software. It will ask for your mail address. Enter it and follow the instructions. It is as simple as that. Do not supply personal information you do not want to share with them. You can use an alias.

Whiterabbit-uk,
I downloaded Ashampoo Burning Studio 2022 from the Ashampoo site directly instead of downloading, installing and registering from GAOTD yesterday. Now, I tried to register the software, but it didn't work ("There is no key existing"). Is this normal behaviour? Is this the difference, that you don't get a key, if you downlaod it from Ashampoo ("Free download") in contrast to downloading it from GAOTD at the certain day?
Do you know, if this had to have been also working?

Will Windows 11 operate with only 2GB or RAM? let alone run resource heavy applications?

TK, it depends on your requirements, one of my friend still uses pentium desktop with win7, but he is doing mostly coding with browser being used only for google help. another friend is still stuck with Arch Linux since 2007. most of the OS upgrades are just happening because we are used to glittery/shiny life supporting facebook like stuff.
well you can try stripped down / unbloated versions of win11.

TK, I can only assume that you are using a very old rig, but in answer to your question the answer is no. Windows 11 requires 4GB for ther OS alone and at least 64GB storage. It also depends if your rig has a compatible CPU and TPM (Trusted Platform Module)
Save | Cancel
TK, how does your question relate to this giveaway?
Save | Cancel
TK, I have a virtual W11 running with 2 GB. But I do not recommend that for a real computer. W11 only runs with quite new chips. Modern computers have at least 4 GB.

TK, the 2 GB in the requirements can be read as "at least 2 GB free".

krypteller, you can read things in many ways IF you imagine extra words that are not there... that is not the point of writing and reading. People that insert words and sentences into conversations are usually having a psychotic break. The most likely explanation is the 2GB value is hangover from windows 7/8/8.1 and even 10 (the little stream netbooks) and the change to Windows 10/11 and ignoring Windows 7/8/8.1 is purely a marketing choice to make an old product seem new and re-written for Windows 10 and 11 only. Would be interesting to see if anyone has tried to install it under Windows 7 as the installer script does specify Windows NT 6.1, which is Windows 7 NT designation, to see if it will run under Windows 7?

Hott, the system requirements panel of this giveaways claims...

Mark, any particular reason you would make such an assumption of what "rig" I am using? I'm commenting on the giveaways stated system requirements... the "rig" I was typing the comment on was manufactured in 2021 using then current chips and spec'd far higher than min Win 11 specification.

Prashant, one would have to hack the setup of WIndows 11 to get it to install in a system with only 2G of RAM and as Windows 11 is only available in 64bit edition it is far less efficient at handling RAM less than 4GBytes. Easiest way to get Windows 11 running in 2GByts of RAM is to first install 4 or more GBytes of RAM and then once validation and installation is done, switch off and install two 1GByte sticks. But I be it will crawl, thrashing the paging file most of the time. I certainly would not trust a windows 11 system with 2GBytes of RAM to be able to burn BD discs at full speed without stuttering... let alone play them back at full speed.

I have Ashampoo 2021 on my AMD WIndows 7 system. Works just fine, but this new 2022 version will not work at all. Any suggestion from AShampoo.?

Installed 2x on windows 8.1. Both times the program, after install, did not work and also "deleted" my "older" burning program.... it's very weird, but I believe it does NOT work on windows 8.1. Now I have to find my older program and hope it's registration is still valid.

Ze Mane da Silva, the official requirements are Windows 10/ 11.
I installed it in/on two virtual W7 machines: a W7 64 Pro and a 32 bit ThinPC. On the W7 64 Pro it did not run as it should. No problems on the virtual ThinPC.
If I wanted to test it on my real W10 machine, I would first install it in Sandboxie Plus. If that fails, I just clean the sandbox and my machine is clean.
In most cases, I make a Cameyo portable on a virtual computer and use that on my production computers. If I get fed up with it, I just delete the Cameyo folder and my production computer is clean again. I can have several versions of the same programme and run them one at a time. Never a problem. With Cameyo, the registry and %AppData% folder of the production computer stay clean.

I am not impressed. I installed but was told my activation was not accepted. I contacted them and they indicated they would look into it but that was 3 hours ago and all I've received were ads for other products

Tried several times. Installation went OK but wouldn't register or activate. Unfortunately I removed Burning Studio 2021 prior to installing 2022. Now I don't have either. I can't even get Burning Studio Free to register!

I've had Ashampoo products for the past ten years; this one I've had the 21 and 20 editions on two pcs. Both start to fail after a while, hanging up on a burn or app opening too large for screen or sometimes just not responsive.
I written to them in the past re: this product and others in their line-up; answers are always "oh, do a reboot" or "clean out cache" or "what is your registration number?"...inane questions. I should NOT have a problem with their products; they're just not right. The only thing I have now of their is the Slideshow Studio and I've yet to use it/find out if there's a glitch with it.
At this time, folks, I do NOT recommend any products from Ashampoo.

Can I get registration address?
Save | Cancel
”Karkonosz”,
Create an account over on Ashampoos site to get your registration code.
Unpack the zipped file then click on the executable. This brings up a setup window, click on the 'Agree & Proceed button. The next window allows you to change the installation path (just in case you have a preferred install path, for example I install all applications onto a separate disk from my main C drive).
Then proceed to install the software; when installed it will ask you to restart your computer; though you can select not to right away.
Then boot up the application (I'm assuming you've allowed a desktop shortcut).
A window appears that says Almost Done. Now activate your personal full version license etc It asks you to log in with your Ashampoo account Place your email in the field where it says ''enter your email''.
If you don't have an account yet, under the email field it says Don't have an Ashampoo account? No problem! Type in your email you wish to use for your new Ashampoo account and follow the instructions.
If you have an account, just type in your password. If not I'm assuming it asks you to give a password. (I already have an account, so it registered immediately after I added my password.

DH, then help me to activate it

Doug, just create an account at Ashampoo site and register software without problems. First, you need to create an account.
Save | Cancel
I'd like to try this. But not enough to go through the activation process, creating an account to use it.

col, Ashampoo gives away lifelong software regularly. You only need to create an account once.

col,
and you point is ...?
Save | Cancel
col, Just to add to what krypteller stated, creating an account not only gets access to their regular software giveaways, it also gets you access to their "freeware" which is also very good.
Plus many times they team up with other German software developers for great pricings.

krypteller, I have used Aampoo in the past but it will not accept my registration attempts, any advice???

Doug, get a new mail address, eg via 33Mail or Gmail, and get a new registration with that.

Doug, It's right, you are not able to use the default method to activate your software if you cannot remember the email which has been utilized during your registration process. However, the good news is, you can also activate the software simply by entering only the activation key. To do this, first accept the EULA after running the setup, then specify the target directory and start the installation. After installation, start the program. Select the surface you want. And now you have reached your goal: A smaller window appears on the darkened program window that offers you two options for activation. The "Activate" button is offered large and imposing. However, you must not click on it. Instead, you click the “Enter Activation Key Manually” button. It can be found inconspicuously as tiny blue text at the bottom right. In this way, you can activate your purchased software with the purchased activation key alone.

Doug, hi .
If you type the password , instead of using copy-paste ,
check the spelling .
If you use more than one email accounts (like me) ,
during sign-in , make sure that you use the same
email account that you used when you created your
Ashampoo account .
If you're still having problems , during sign-in , say that
you forgot your password and create a new password .
Maybe this way you will manage to get in .
If nothing works , send an email to support .
Many years ago I had similar problems and the were
fast and helpful .
I hope something of all the above will be helpful ...
