Sound does not work. YouTube app turns off mirroring when Play is hit. Metronome app shows significant lag compared to phone display, no sound. Killed sound on PC (I'm seriously hoping a reboot fixes it - no sound from ANY program). iPhone 6, iOS 10.1.1, Vista, EVGA Nvidia 550 Ti graphics. When I tried to run it again today to look for some option I might have missed, it no longer starts. Sorry I didn't write this review early on giveaway day, but maybe it will help Developer (left short version on their website, they apparently only want short comments with no details because they limit total length). Uninstalling, will stay with X-Mirage!

I am not aware of any software that permits the recording of an iphone conversation, without the use of third party service or a special cable and independent recorder. The notes to this program indicate a capability of recording the image and the sound of what is mirrored. Is that correct? If so, is it possible to use this program to record a telephone conversation?

I don't have an Iphone so can't use today's giveaway, but I do have their Phone Manager (also a giveaway here), and it works really, really well.
These people seem to know what they're doing when it comes to interfacing phones with a desktop.

It works using airplay link so you will need wi-fi connection. Tested it out on my iphone5, worked really well - impressed with the quality. Mirroring apprears to be fixed in 'portrait' mode, so when I tilted my device to 'landscape' the mirrored image on my PC remained in 'portrait' - which was a bit disappointing.

It works fine, basically it's pretending to be an Apple TV. Note you still control your iDevice on the device, the screen is just mirrored to the computer. However it's very annoying that the toolbar covers the top of the phone screen and I don't see any reason not to move it above the screen (or at least to have that option when not in fullscreen). Maybe the toolbar is supposed to fade after a while (when the mouse is not over it) but it didn't for me.
The program installer says "free updates within the current version" and the readme says "no free updates" so I'm not sure what you get there?
