Downloaded and registered. Virtually useless to use as it keeps going into the background and not stay in top of the page I wished to save. i typically have more than 15 tabs open at once and I cannot afford to close every one until I find the one I want and take the screenshot.

Downloaded, followed directions. Process created a shortcut on desktop as requested by user. Click on shortcut .... nothing happens. Same for click on application after "find" on start / search for program. Tried to run as administrator, same problem. So have not been able to register, despite receivingreg. code in zip file and on the redirect page with install / registration instructions. Have not had this issue with the many other GAOTD installations / registrations.

Find out after activation is only good for a year. State that up front so I don't waste my time downloading. Notwithstanding, installation did go smoothly

Don't care how good it is...and from some comments it isn't...$40.00 for a screen recorder...give me a break.

I cannot get program license. I keep getting sent to VIP purchase page with notice the trial period has 0 days to go. I can get to an "enter the license code" page but it is grayed out not letting the GAOTD code be entered. Seems to be conflicting with the nothing the code should be found in an email sent to my registered account? Fishing around, I licensed the video converter program without issue which was done from my Hotmail account without actually copying and pasting any code. Weird?

.............So..........how to get a license given some kind of glitch on this gaotd?

So i thought i would try out this screen recorder and it is pretty good, but I will list more below.

Pro's:
Program runs smooth as does the playback.
It has tons of features which is great. (Highlight cursor, Regions, Different resolutions and many more.)
When you record a region of screen you can move the region while recording and that's great.
From reading posts here I see the Dev is active, which is a major plus.
Audio setting easy to access and change.
Pretty easy to register and quick also another plus.
You can chose your own hotkeys for many features.
Program has multiple languages also a plus.
Many different output formats is great.
Has floating toolbar.
Webcam can be recorded as well and can be placed anywhere on screen.
Has nice advanced settings for mouse


Con's:
My first con for the program is save feature needs work. (What I mean by that is I prefer to pick save locations on the fly in other programs I use. I would prefer to be able to quickly pick a location and have a recent save folder list so I can choose past used directories. Depending on what i record i put recording in various locations and the program lacks a lot in that area.)
Other con is i would have liked to see a couple more features in program like the ability to send file to youtube or other service.
I would have also liked the ability to live stream.

That pretty much everything in Pro con list thou i have some after thought.

The program can be purchased by itself or in a bundle using subscription i think $59.95 a year for all their programs and I think there are 13 in the bundle..
You can get subscription for the program alone for I think $39.95 a year or $12.95 a month.
Also for those who hate subscriptions (like me) You can buy the program alone for $79.95 with lifetime updates . (perpetual license)
All info above is for Personal license and Business is different.
I dont see a all in one perpetual price for all their programs in one bundle.

I like the program and could see myself buying the perpetual license in near future.
I have other programs that do many of the things I want and that I listed above.


Anyways pretty good program.
I will be checking out some of their other programs just to see what each has to offer.

This activation is invalid. In other words didn't work. I even shared this on my FB page to acquire the Video Converter as well. I need to know where to download the converter to activate it again and a different code for the Screen Recorder.

Hello, I have used this program for years now and it's been good and reliable, my gripe is that most companies, including this one, are getting to charge annual fees for the use of their apps or just limiting them for one year, either case is going to damage their marketing, this is acceptable for big expensive software e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, modeling software, etc.but NOT for rinky dink companies that rely on their retail sales like this one, what's the sales setback you are wondering? Well, people like us will simply look elsewhere for better deals, other companies will make similar software at lower prices to compete, open source programs will definitely fill that need, etc. so I personally wouldn't worry about getting these type of deals even if the software can perform well enough.

Really, this is the manufacture's description: "it has a fairly good recording...."

Somebody in marketing either should be canned or given a medal for honesty~

Download, registration and activation – not easy – The activate isn’t under account name as it says in the readme – I think it’s under the three lines for menu. Anyway, this wasted a few minutes trying to figure it out – but okay, that’s not much time.

I did a test record not changing any settings. The interface for me was clear, easy to use and the sizes I wanted were there. It recorded the sound and visual perfectly. I was very happy with the result except for the cursor.

The cursor shows a white arrow with a yellow dot. That’s nice if you want someone to look at the cursor – but if you have a custom cursor or an image for a game and you want to do the screen recording of the game – well then this white arrow with the yellow dot obscures your actual graphic and people won’t know that it is part of the software and not part of the game.

I do like that it puts the toolbar in the corner before minimising it. I still would like screen recorder software that leaves the controls on the screen all the time and just doesn’t record them, so I don’t have to go looking for them afterwards.

There was an option to edit the video (Tools – Apower Edit) but pressing that button took me to their website to either work on it there or download more software. The more button will do the same.

Would I be able to use this software? No, because it’s personal use only - anything you record to publish is well, not personal use.

Would I buy it for $40 to get a commercial version? No, there’s cheaper software around that’s just as good.

Hi all, just downloaded this screen recorder, installed followed the instruction got the VIP 6 digits, copied the one year registration code and voila... But before installing deactivated Avast Premium and Malware byte premium. What I really like about ApowerREC 1.1.3, you can move the selected size window not in full screen when recording. Did a fast test and this program is one of the best since I'm using a computer 1981... So deactivation on your Virus malware etc... program for 5 minutes and follow the instructions to get first the VIP number and than paste the registration number. It's installed on PC Windows 10 NVIDIA video card, the basic PC. Hope you get good result like I did.

Failed to activate 3 times! (got 3 days license only)
Deleted/Uninstalled.

I keep getting 404 error - how can I overcome it?

Had tried a previous version Screen Recorder Win&Mac Pro 1.1.9 given away here on 10 Nov 2013.
Did not like it as it screwed up the audio. There were many problems in the PC after installing it.
This seems to be a new version with a different name in 2018.
YMMV.

I need this rec recorder for my YouTube channel. It has a light interface, simple configurations, and is easy to use. Good job. Thanks for that.
But I think there is still some improvement you should make. For instance, the editor should be stronger.
