For me a must have partitioning tool. But in Feb 2022, I downloaded the "lifetime" giveaway of Aomei PA version 9.6. What is better in version 9.9 to justify that now it's "only" a one-year license ? Should I stay with the (excellent) old one ?

Sean, As the saying goes, "Don't Fix it if it ain't broke". Stay with the "lifetime" giveaway and wait until version 9.9 is available with a "lifetime license". You could also both versions but use the 'Sandbox" to install version 9.9.

Sean, hi .
According to my archives the 9,6 version was given at 22-02-2022 ,
BUT , it had 1 year license , not lifetime .
Can you please give the exact date in order to locate the lifetime version ?

Rushr,
Please tell me what you mean by "the sandbox"?

"System Migration: migrate your OS from an old HDD to a new SSD or HDD, supporting MBR and GPT disks;"
I had two partitions on my HDD. Bought an SSD, and I wanted to migrate only the system partition to a smaller SSD, and leave the data partition on the HDD.
I believe it is a very common and expected scenario, but just like Paragon and EaseUS. AOMEI failed me too, because they can't migrate to a smaller drive. Only Macrium offered me to select which partition I want to migrate.
