· Registration Guide:
Step 1: Register on the giveaway page with a valid email and password. You will receive a confirmation email in your mailbox. Click the link in the email to confirm receipt of the free license.
Step 2: Log into Doremi with the email and password you entered in the first step. After login, the free 1-year license will be activated immediately.
The 1-year license is applied to all Windows versions of AnyVid, as well as new versions in the future.

I have done just like the instructions said. I am logged in but still says trial version. I remember trying this before & could not get it. Wish y'all would give away the Allavsoft again. I had the lifetime and worked great, but just quit working. I contacted them and now I am back at trial version.

Hilda, with ALLAVSOFT the main updates are to the yt-dlp_x86.exe and most of the time if you are a teeny bit computer savvy you can make it update itself to the current version and it will invariably start working again.
You need to open an Administrator CMD prompt and navigate to the allavsoft install location and enter the following command to prompt it to perform the self-update check:
yt-dlp_x86.exe -U
the U needs to be capital U and it will check for new versions and self update if there is a new version available and normally there will be a new version available.

Followed readme instructions (twice) but still get Free Trial Status. Second time turned off antivirus but no luck. Also, sent email to AnyVid support but no reply. Any other suggestions?

If you use this on YouTube, does it also download the advert videos that cut into the video you are watching, or does it just get the video all in one go minus the adverts?

Zeberdee, no it uses the industry standard yt-dlp.exe downloader that just downloads the chosen video and audio files and does NOT honour the video pages instructions to download and display adverts.... one day YouTube WILL use AI or other algorithms to spot the lack of downloading adverts with the media files as an illegal downloader and block these downloaders that way and the downloader module will have to start downloading the adverts too and pretend it displayed them...
