To use any MP4 DVD Creator 7.2.82 (or other DVD-Creators) you do need a PC/laptop that has an optical drive. Such devices become very rare if they are already offered for sale.

To me, this means that you can create to a folder of ISO file on your hard drive without having to have a DVD drive.

Yes, and those large storage external SSDs also come with a rather hefty price tag attached to them unfortunately and can tend to wear out within a year or so! Probably okay for those wealthy enough to afford to sleep on a mattress filled purely with $100 notes for cushioning though I guess. lol
Alas, not all of us can afford such luxuries.
