Ant Download Manager (AntDM) is a tool that allows you to repeatedly increase the speed of file downloads due to multiple download streams, resume, schedule downloads, capture and download audio and video streams.

  • Automatically processes download errors, recovers from temporary network errors, reconnects in case of server response delays, has the ability to resume interrupted downloads due to loss of connection, network problems, computer shutdown, or unexpected power outages.
  • The standard GUI for softwares of this class makes AntDM friendly and easy to use. It has two screens – the first is more common for regular downloads and the second is using video preview for easy tracking of video downloads.
  • Has download queues, which allows you to accumulate download links at a convenient or scheduled time for the user.
  • Supports proxy-servers, HTTP and FTP file protocols and their protected versions of HTTPS and FTPS, as well as the main streaming protocols for audio and video content M3U8, MPEG-DASH, VIMEO-STREAM, firewalls, redirects, cookies, authorization, processing of audio and video content.
  • Supports BitTottrent a P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing protocol.
  • Сan be easily integrated into the main popular browsers Microsoft EDGE (Chromium-based), Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and their numerous clones: CocCoc, Comodo Dragon, Comodo IceDragon, 360Chrome, Chedot, Brave, Opera, Slimjet, SRWare Iron, Torch, UC Browser, Vivaldi, Yandex, Waterfox, etc. The integration of extension into browsers is used to automatically capture file or media links and download them. I use Ant from the years. Is easy and very convenient. Ant does what should do. Ant is on webs watch and never fail. Capture everything what I want and downloading. Propose what can download and show in which format or resolution. Always stays awake and keeps watch.

Is there a list of sites that this software is capable to download from? I have checked their homepage and found no such list out there.

I've only tried Ant Down Manager for a few minutes but already I'm impressed. I have it running on my second monitor. I was even able to customize the font size for my old eyes. Downloading options are easy to use. I like using the MP3 downloading option for just getting the music off videos. I've only scratched the many options. Time to add another hard drive. Thanks Ant!

I use the old version to download YouTube videos, never seem to have any trouble with it!! Wish it could download Tubi Videos but still very happy with this!!

I like Ant DM, and have an earlier GOTD version installed. Tried installing this one, had to disable antivirus and re-download, it started installing, activated OK, then found a problem with one of the installation files and wouldn't complete. Might try again later.

Ant D/L Mgr is the best Manager I have come across so far, it only does not pick up video on one of the many sites I use.

Unobtrusive, quick and easy to click just a few times to get audio or video - you choose which. No cut and paste needed.

Can I use this offer to upgrade my older version I got from here?

Unless it's an upgrade usually the best thing is uninstall your previous version and install this one.

Stephen, I removed my old version that I also got as a GIVE AWAY OFFERING and then installed this new offering, easy as can be!!
Tried out this new offering and seems to be a lot faster then the older version - Hope this helps! D.N.

For $20, I purchased a lifetime registration of Internet Download Manager. Does anyone know how this product ranks compared to that? I personally love IDM.

Jay, I have used ADM for a couple of years and love it and of the couple of others I have tried as Giveaways and in fact have installed, I see no reason to change as overall, it is best for me. The feature of automatically getting the link for video/audio on many sites is a feature many do not have.
Since this is a free offer, why not install it and try it out yourself? You can get rid of it if you do not like it.

xprt007, I love ADM as well, my only problem is that the versions I have used always max out my cpu usage if ADM is enabled and the web browser is open for too long. Then I have to disable ADM and close and re-open the browser. Very annoying thing I keep hoping they will fix in new updates, their fix is to change cpu cycles in the options but doing that has not fixed it for me.

Jay, I agree with one exception, it gives me a problem when trying to d/l ...1Fichier files.

Well, Internet Download Manager has been around for MANY, MANY YEARS (I've used it for at least 15 years) and updates are regular and free. It has a stellar reputation and works very well.

Webeye, Obviously you need to create a mask url for these downloads.

Most users do not need these masks, but they slow down navigation in the browser. That's the reason we don't supply them.

C A, ADM is one of the few programs I allow to autostart on diverse Windows 10 Destops & notebooks I have used including this notebook. Right now in passive mode its readings in the Task Manager: cpu usage: jumping between 0 & 0.1%, adm native module ... 0%.
I think in the last 5 or so years it is only in the last 3 or so months, that some window has popped up mentioning something about high cpu usage. I did not bother much about it and immediately closed it and just continued to work normally. So to me it has really never been an issue and in case I have temporary high CPU usage, it has been from another culprit, mostly Firefox.
So I cannot say much about that issue, which affects other people. I am sure, though the publisher will do something about it.
