Finally registered the software a few minutes ago! The problem revolved around whatever was going on with their website. The apache 2 test is no longer showing up on their website. I sent them a screenshot and they seemed to be surprised!

Seems to be a lot if issues with this and it really was not hard. Trying to help all if I can.. Assuming you got the download files.. there is a file "read me.txt" file In there is the instructions =
"Installation
Unzip the package you`ve downloaded and run Setup.exe which is included in the package, to
install the software.
You need to create the account on the company site, please visit the page below and choose
"SignUp" icon at the top right corner.

If you follow the instructions exactly, check your "Readme" file first and your spam folder as well as disable antivirus software, all works OK. This is the computer, no emotions involved!!! Remember that. :-)

Haresh Rajpal, you cant create an account at animiz.com because the site is still down. You cant use the cached site because the signup button is non functional. No one here is having problems downloading the software, the issue is not being able to create an account at animiz so you can finish registering the software.

Elina, I've tried chrome, edge and opera and I'm still getting the apache 2 test page so there's no way to sign up to create an acct in order to register the software. Even using the cache site doesnt allow you to sign up for an account which is what you need to do in order to register the software.

Elina, yes but considering the site is still down with this apache 2 test who knows if they will still have this problem for the next 10 days. They manually created an account for me, sent the confirmation email when I clicked the link it send me back to their site with another 404 error. They are definitely not instill confidence in me.

Everything went as smooth as it should. downloaded - signed up - confirmed email - installed and running in less then 2 minutes looking forward to playing with this! only shame is that you cant use it for commercial!

Nigel Aslett, wasnt able to register because the apache 2 test issue going on their site. I had to have support manually create an account for me and when they sent me the confirmation email the link in the email didnt work due to the problems on their site. They had manually confirm my account.

Installed in Windows 8.1. Registered on website, ran program and entered code. Works fine. Just made a small test animation and saved as mp4 file. Was a bit slow saving but 'patience is a virtue' as they say. I have used Flash design programs in the past so the layout of the program is similar and fairly easy to use, but I imagine not so for the casual computer user. Obvious from many of the other comments that a lot of GOTD users just can't cope with anything other than the most simple of installations and programs, which is a shame as this is quite a nice program.

Wieder ein Grafikprogramm, bei dem ich nur die Free-Version erhalte und die versprochene Standard-Version nicht aktivieren kann. Ich habe einen Account erstellt, das Programm installiert und gestartet. Nach Anklicken des Login-Buttons musste ich feststellen, dass es unmöglich ist, eine Email-Adresse einzugeben. Jeder Versuch ein "@" zu tippen, beendet schlagartig das Programm. Für Spaß habe ich dann mal "Passwort vergessen" angeklickt und bin auf einer "Error 404" Seite gelandet. Kaufen kann man das Programm übrigens auch nicht. Egal welche Version ich auch wähle: Nichts passiert!
Vielleicht versuche ich mein Glück morgen früh noch mal. Möglicherweise hat Animiz den offenbar zusammengebrochenen Internet-Auftritt dann wieder zum Laufen gebracht.

this is the case that we see pretty often among the users.
Our download letters include two active links - one to start the program download and another to click if you received the letter by a mistake and you want to receive no more letters from us, so called ignore list.
Your email is now in this ignore list, which means that somehow before you clicked the wrong link and added yourself to the list.
Your email was removed from it, so please try to request the download link one more time.
There should be no problems with getting the letter this time, but we kindly ask the users to pay more attention to the actions they perform.

To install, deactivate antivirus. Did so on Win10 Ultimate 64bit & got the Free version instead of Standard version, even though verified with email link. Will trial Free version anyway, but not impressed with this offer at all. Certainly would not subscribe at $29/month for Standard.

All I want to do is use an aerial photo from Google Maps of a particular road intersection, and show how cars must navigate it. Why isn't there one simple program made for that?

J, The 'easiest' would be to do the animation in Powerpoint, then convert that to a GIF. This can then be uploaded to a webpage for easy access. Mobiles can view GIFs, so as long as the GIF is small (in filesize) it should work OK.

okay first off it was easy to sign up and install.
it is not really all that simple - sure it is kinda simple in the same way as a music sequencer is simple,
i have tried a couple of different animation like programs from flash to 3D (like blender) this is kind of oversimplified to a point where it becomes time consuming hard to do simple tasks, but i guess one gets used to it.
positive:
it seems to be working
it has not crashed on me
negative:
1024x576 that is just way to low, especially since it is a 29$ a month plan
no markings on what you can use and what is a higher tier, you find out by pop-up, that is just annoying - and a sign of a crappy business practice, it is annoying on free apps and programs - but in paid software.
it says, among others, standard has 18 roles, you cant visually see which you can use, so you have to try every one, i can tell you of the 41 roles 16 does not give you a pay us more pop-up, but i guess 16 is close enough to 18, it animation not math.
all in all as for being a paid program, it seems really amputated, unless you go for top tier - and with the base program being what it is i don't think it is worth it, if this is what you get for 29$ a month i would feel more than a bit screwed.

Ootje, I am using windows 10 and had this with IE and Chrome. I could reach a cached site, but links would not work. I have emailed their support so will wait to see if I get a reply today. This doesn't bode well for a company that will want you to pay for the software in 6 months time.

And even stranger: I just started a Torbrowser and could open www.animiz.com without any problem.
Also I could different pages of this site. Also the download.

The fact that it looks like the free edition has a watermark is enough to keep me from trying this offer out. And it also says this is a standard 6 months plan. The price ( $174.00 ) might be a bit steep for those who are looking for this kind of tool also. I am still interested in seeing what others have to say about it.

I have high hopes for this as I download it now (10min)
But... I visited their site only to learn that even on this GOTD version we will not be able to export as HD video. and so does the free version.

It's a 32b software. it takes ~580MB but can be directed to any drive. I export one 1024X576 WMV that was at 3Mb/s, it's OK not great. Then I exported same thing as mp4 it was only at 450Kb/s ... terrible. The layout is nice, and need to explore. I don't have immediate use for it so I guess the free version could be just fine.
