I'm using a 'universal downloader' that isn't even 20 MB and does everything AnyVid proclaims to do. So what is all the extra 'bloat' for? It always makes me suspicious. Maybe unfairly but on that basis I have to decline.

Ant Download Manager is way more versatile and faster to download videos too, not to mention, cheaper.

· Registration Guide:
Step 1: Register on the giveaway page with a valid email and password.
Step 2: Log into AnyVid with the email and password you entered in the first step. After login, the free 1-year license will be activated immediately.

The 1-year license is applied to all versions of AnyVid, as well as new versions in the future.

· Note:

You don’t need to enter the activation code on AnyVid. Just log in with the registered email and password which you created on the landing page, and then your account will activate.

I got it working by downloading the free version on their site and registering with a new email addy. There is no activation code - just login using the new email. However, it was a waste of time. There were two download sites on their list that interested me - TubiTV and ABC iView. Tubi gave me a "video unavaiable" message on everything I attempted and IView gave me "access forbidden" on everything.

Wow, over 60 downvotes already, i guess that is a new record, even if not a positive one. I don't really want to go thru that trouble, guess i'll pass today. But thanks for the offer nontheless. =)

I attempted to install the program 3 times. I NEVER succeeded. The installation process is too convoluted. This is a throw-away.

To get this you need to use the link in the readme

Fill the form on the Blue 1yr license
Download the File and Run it.
From the menu in the App, Login.
From the Menu again look at Account Info
It will say unlimited downloads

What they hope is more will buy the lifetime by noticing the discounted price from $36 down to $25.
Very poor gimmick.

I am surprised at all the fuss about the supposedly new email necessary to get a licence...I am not silly enough to give my trusted email to a company which will use it to send me tons of spams. Just use a temporary mail like Temp Mail or others.

So far no one seems to be able to install or use this stupid program Why is it still even here??

Doesn't work. After successfully registering I restarted and its still asking for an activation code yet nothing has been sent to my email address. Waste of time.
Try 4K Video Downloader instead. Free to use although there is a limit on downloads per day (50 I think).

I'm sick of creating new email accounts for companies that are lacking in intelligence ... or those that harvest email addresses for their own uses.

Every other software company on here lets me use the same email each time. Some of them actually give the registration code automatically BECAUSE I use the same email.

You can keep the software app. I've used AmoyShare in the past, so it won't let activate AnyVid. I could give them a different email address , but it's really not worth the effort. I'll just uninstall it.

Each time you sign up for an Amoyshare application you have to use a different email because they won't let you register with one previously used as they only want you to use the free year once with the same account. Fair enough.

If there weren't so many video downloaders available for free I'd consider buying the permanent version.

That said; thanks for the offer, I used it once previously with no issues.

I don't get the registration code, like last time. Tried it with four different email addresses this time. "Please enter a valid email address".

Waste of time. After installation the application would not run. Even if it did, it's not worth keeping for a measly one year license. At least the uninstaller worked.

I see more than enough movies on the Internet with a resolution of 480, 360 and 240 pixels, which are not worth watching both on PC and a Smartscreen.

Will there be updates in that year?
