Very good software. I occasionally use a previous version from another giveawayoftheday type site, and will upgrade using this giveaway. But what I would REALLY like is for this offer to include a reduced price to BUY a lifetime license. I prefer to actually OWN the software I use. But $34 is too much for this type of software. I have purchased copies of Whizfolders and RightNote (two excellent similar programs) and would happily pay for this one ... but not $34. Offer it for $15 and I'll pull out my credit card ... I like to encourage really good developers to keep up the good work.

I've been looking for a replacement for Sidekick (by STARFISH) and this might just fit the bill but it doesn't have a printable calendar. I suggest the author incorporate a calendar (ala Sidekick) for appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc., so that one can see at a glance what's coming up for the day, week, month or year.
PS: I'm still running Sidekick 99 on Win 7 & 10 and it works after 24 years but the calendar runs out at the end of 2029!

Been using this software for the past decade and it has never disappointed me. I use it for my homestead for gardening, preserving, and cooking among other things. I have over 600 recipes with pictures and tables and the print system is amazing. You can set the paper size with columns or full page and get an exact preview of how it will look on the paper. I would not be without this software. Not only that, the support team is awesome and Vlad remembers his customers.

I've been using this for the last few years and love it. I love that you can snip pics into it and then resave these pics as PNG files to use elsewhere. It's great for organizing notes and is an alternative to Evernote. I use it every day.

If you're like me and find the interface font to be MICRO, way too tiny, you can edit your skin file. Look for the "Fonts" section in the skin's .ini file. For more help, try this forum thread: https://www.vladonai.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=50&p=5235&hilit=font+size#p5235

I honestly would not be able to use this program at all without this customization. It should be a simple part of the Options -- the ability to control the interface font and size with a click or two in options. Otherwise, great program. Thank you for it's use.

This looks great but before I invest much time and effort into using this program I would like to know if in future this "Lifetime licence" will enable me to install the software again - to a new PC or when the OS has had to be reinstalled, for example.

The readme in the download states that "there is no manual registration, the program will self-activate during the first run." I find this concerning. Is there a way of preserving this activation status?

Barbwyr, the information from an earlier version was that a key file is produced on activation. This is tied into the disk serial number which means you can reinstall and re-activate but it must be to the same hard disk (or you find a way to clone the disk ID to a new HDD).

For the older version this file is found in your "Documents\AllMyNotes\" folder.
The file has a .ky extension. You should probably back this up somewhere other than your hard disk.

I cannot speak for this version as I did not actually get round to trying it this time but assume the arrangement is probably the same.

Best note taker that I have ever found. Snips and pictures can be pasted.
Been using it for at least 10 years and would not be without it.

Downloaded this program years ago, and loved it!! Its a note-taking, research, webpage storage, journal, etc..maker. I can only tell you all to GET IT!! I used it for the longest (until my PC crashed). Now its free again!! My humble advice....unzip the program on your desktop, insert a USB Drive and remember the drive letter. Now install the program but direct it to install it on your USB Drive Letter. By doing it this way, you have it as a portable program and dont have to worry about your PC every crashing!! This is a no-brainer!! Thanks GOTD, you made my day!!! - Yeppie!!!
