The conversion quality is very poor, with no user-selectable settings; only predefined settings are available, and there's no way to adjust the fps. The program can be used for downloading, but I don't recommend it for conversion.

I just downloaded the package and exacted the readme.txt file. Then I went to Allasoft's website to download the latest version and installed it. Used the license key in the readme.txt file to register the software. It just worked and I have the latest version. Thanks.

This is the sixth time I've tried to get an e-mail link, over the last few months. It never comes. It's really disappointing. I commented once before and was told I had removed myself from some list, but they restored me. Still nothing. I've missed some programs I really would have liked to try.

GOTD team, I was told that last time. When I hit download, it gives me the option to chose push notifications or a personal download link via email. I always choose email link. I don't remember getting other emails from you, but maybe I've just forgotten.

GOTD team, i tried multiple times to get a download link but it never came. it always came in a matter of seconds. GOTD email address is allowed in my email account. now the giveaway has expired. could i have had the same problem as frank? it seem strange to me, i'v been subscribed to GOTD for years and it always worked.

What is 'really' new in this version please?
For Info - Previous versions can only download one Spotify song each time.
Then you have to restart the PC to download another Spotify song with this app.

This is a generally good program that I'd recommend.
Often I'd suggest checking the download version on the website to see if it is later than the GAotD version, as provided it's the same base version (3.28) the licence should work (and you can go back to the GAotD version if not) as they may have updated it after providing the GAotD one..
However while the web version is indeed later than the one in this GAotD download IT IS NOT SIGNED and the GAotD one is, so I'd suggest installing the one from GAotD for safety.

P.S.
The Setup.exe file in the Giveaway installs 3.28.7.9473 and is signed.
The "Trial Version" download from the Allavsoft web-site (as of 10:40 GMT/UT) is 3.28.8.9497 and not signed.

The only problems with download engines like this is that you get an lifetime license with no updates and today they actually requires free updates to keep up with the webpages changing their way so it might work for an month and than become obsolete because you can't use it for a download any longer unless you upgrade because the webpage has changed.
Youtube is an splendid example of this.

The "Trial Version" download from the Allavsoft web-site is 3.28.8.9497 but IS NOT SIGNED, so use at your own risk.

David, Do you represent Allavsoft? The version here is indeed v3.28.7.9473, as JohnL said. It's not the version you say.

The giveaway license can work on both versions.
