TK, Spotify recently has updated. All the previous version no longer support Spotify.
Luckily, we have tried our best to finally found the solution to support it again.
Currently we only support Spotify for our paid users.

Very belatedly (and more a note for the next time this appears) I think I should add a comment on YouTube - it doesn't seem to download higher-resolution .webm videos. So if the highest res .mp4 is FHD that's what "best available" gets you, even if there's a 4k .webm.
WinX HD Video Converter will download the 4k .webm video, so it is possible.

Maybe there's a option to get past this, but I can't find it.

I almost missed this giveaway. I've been using Allavsoft video downloader since, they invented can peaches. It's a great downloader and works on almost any site. I would recommend to anyone needing a really good downloader. Thanks to GOTD and Allavsoft for the offer.

This is an excellent product. Thank you to the developer. I'm just a retired guy who likes to share some videos from time to time. I can't justify spending money on a downloader. This product does everything I need.

I don't understand those complaining about Spotify. This product is free. You're looking a gift horse in the mouth and complaining about a missing tooth. Just take the horse, it's free and otherwise great.

Hi, I found that your promotional info is fairly inconsistent with your further claims and explanations. First you claim that your software supports extensions and then you advise that you no longer support any extensions. Could you provide ultimate set of info about the functionalities of this software and the limitations of the GAOTD version?

Hi, you wrote that your software is capable to download from Spotify and then you admit, that this option is available only to paying users? Could you explain in details what limitations have been imposed on this version of Allavsoft? I hate spending my resources and time only to learn that this option or another is not available for users who declined to use your discount offer?

Spotify recently has updated. All the previous version no longer support Spotify.
Luckily, we have tried our best to finally found the solution to support it again.
Currently we only support Spotify for our paid users. If Spotify is your only need, it is not recommended to get the giveaway version.

I found this app on GOTD many years ago and liked it so much that I purchased it, even though the giveaway was the full version. I wanted to support the best video downloader available. I still believe that.

Have used this app for nearly year now as my number one to download youtubes. On those vids requiring sign in the app has a popup window to enter login details. However this has yet to actually work ok as even after inputting info the app fails to grab video . Why then ask for login info? Even so my computer has two other apps that will get vids with no logins required (Snap and AllMyTube). Frequently using this Allavsoft app reliably for youtube and bitchute and it works most times on odysee and brighteon tho on one site it downloads video without audio meaning details show no time or length, thus video will not play. Found that by running audioless vids thru another conversion app (AnyMp4) it then plays with audio. Purchased lifetime license at discount here in Dec 2020 at 18 usd much lower than 59 list price at that time, and find it worthy in spite of issues mentioned.

Though it mentions Spotify in the list of sites it works with in the description, this version still does not work with Spotify.

Hands down the best downloader I've ever used. Have bought it in fact. Twice lol. (Thought I'd bought a lifetime the first time )
Fast, easy to understand and use. Have found no place yet that it doesn't work on. Updated often so they still work on it to keep it current. Easily one of the best pieces of software I've ever used. Its GOT to be good to have me shilling for it like this lol. Do yourself a favor and try it.

On the Allvasoft site it says that this program also downloads music and subtitles, in total from 1000+ websites.
Is this only a video download module?

Install was simple, however, no extension for browsers were part/ option during that phase, and the option in the app menu is grayed out.

Is this version neutered?

I'm using the current version of Firefox (which is supposedly supported).
