Hmmm loaded a bunch of images and was greeted by what looked like it was some kind of error in French language.... presumably because they were too big? 16384x16384 pixel PNG and 32768x32768 pixel PNG and when I then click geolocate photos the program vanishes into the ether and has to be restarted and re try to create an album again... I note there is no user interface to remove images from the project so although the program threw some French error after adding the images and they not showing thumbnails so there is obviously something about the images it does not like or know what to do about we cannot remove the problem images from the list which obviously leads to further problems down the line. AH reorganise interface does allow one to delete images from the album BUT it does not remove the thumbnails ... from the album UI...

It shows that the giveawayoftheday Pro activated
But the Green Activate Button is still enabled as is the request license. Once a license is active those buttons should be disabled.

This feels refreshingly simple.
Great-looking templates, very easy to use, and the results look polished without much effort.
Nice tool if you enjoy clean design and simple workflows.

Too many things I don't want, starting with " The AlbumForge era (your new reality):
30 seconds: intuitive selection
I want to choose my own photos to put in my albums not some magic software intuition
and I don't need some sort of magic Emotional Cartography etc. etc.

RWW, Thanks for your feedback.
Just to clarify: AlbumForge always gives you the choice.
You can either:
manually select your templates and photos, then click Generate,
or
let the program automatically create the album for you if you prefer a faster, assisted workflow.
Nothing is forced — it simply depends on whether you want full manual control or prefer to let the software handle the layout for you.
Both options are available. (Pierre from ALBUMFORGE TEAM)

I was able to install and run the program fine. Noticed that some of the popups appear to be in French even though the language selected was English. Was going to leave feedback but the feedback page that leads to web site appears broken with my router restrictions. Not sure how much will use the program.

Ken, Thank you for your feedback and for trying AlbumForge.
We’re glad to hear that the program installed and ran correctly.
AlbumForge is currently translated into 50 native languages, and most of the interface is fully localized. A few secondary pop-ups are still being finalized, and this will be improved in upcoming updates.
Regarding the feedback page, it opens an external website, which can indeed be blocked by certain router or network restrictions.
Thank you for sharing your experience — your feedback is valuable and helps us continue improving AlbumForge.

Tried installing but fails to create registry value, code 5 access denied. All files unzipped to a folder before install.
Any ideas?

Paul Sowden, Hi,
This usually happens when Windows blocks registry access.
Please try this:
• Unzip all files to the same folder
• Right-click Setup.exe → Run as administrator
• After installation, close the program, then right-click Activate.exe → Run as administrator
Also, some antivirus software (especially Avast, AVG, Kaspersky, Windows Defender) may block the installer or activation.
If possible, temporarily disable antivirus during install/activation, then re-enable it.
It works fine here when installed this way..

Paul Sowden, I noticed when I unzipped it, there were 2 register files. I picked the one with an Icon and it worked for me. This was before I opened the software. Hope that helps...

PIERRE, Temporarily disabling antivirus during install/activation, makes this software run, re-enabling antivirus, makes it finding Python/Packet.Nuitka_AGen0.CN and removing software icon from desktop

Paul Sowden, The reason for this error is the installer asked you how you wanted to install and you chose install for me only as opposed to install for everyone. When you make that choice the installer does NOT request elevated rights BUT still tries to set several system wide registry settings regardless and that leads to the errors. You can ignore the errors BUT if you do there will not be an entry in programs and features for the program and if you want to uninstall it you'll likely have to go to the uninstall subfolder of the installation and open the uninstall program manually.
