Very useful Utility.
If you have forgotten to set your camera to the current date and time when traveling overseas then this is another use for this program.

Down loaded and says it is installed but I can not find it anywhere on my computer! No desktop icon, no start icon, can not find it in my add & remove files? so how can I use it if I can not find it?

Ralph ,
I found an icon on the desktop for this program. You might have too many icons on your desktop.
Save | Cancel
Ralph , this is one of those programs that requires you to temporarily disable your anti-virus program, even though it doesn't say so in the Readme. I had the same problem as you until I did that, and then it installed for real!

Ralph ,
Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\TSS\Advanced Date Time Calculator\
If that folder does not exist, then the program did not get installed. The program does not install a desktop icon, but but does create a Start Menu shortcut.

Installed and registered without any issues. My work involves lots of dates and this is perfect for working past and future date. Nice and easy to use and saves a lot of time with minimum effort. Just the job. Thanks.

I would like for the program to incorporate a module to automatically update the computer's clock via time servers.

John Davies, Windows already has that function built in. Right click on the clock in the task bar and you will see the options available.

John Davies,
>"to automatically update the computer's clock via time servers."
That is slightly out of the range of what this program does, so I would not expect to see that feature.
In Windows, by default, the clock is synched once a week, but with Task Scheduler, you can set it up to do it at any interval, but still, there is a better solution if re-syncing is necessary.
If your clock's time is off and needs updating often, then it is better to fix that problem than to have a program syncing the time often. The motherboard BIOS battery may be wearing out, and the cost to replace it is less than $5 (U.S.). The battery is typically a CR-2032 battery that looks about the size of a U.S. Nickel. Depending on how you use your computer, that battery can last a short time to many years. There are two types of these batteries, and one is very cheap, but not what you want. The cheap one is often placed in new products when shipped, but they don't last very long before they have to be replaced. There are the demo variants; they aren't intended to last. You can get 10 of these for about a $1 (U.S.) at flea markets or the "dollar" type stores. Buy a name brand battery, and it should last a long time.
The other important part of the time-keeping is dependent on the crystal used. Coming off the assembly line, they vary in how much they deviate over a period of time. Some manufacturers will use only those that have gone through a burn-in period where they have been monitored for accuracy, however that is mostly used in military equipment. The rest of us get the others. You may luck out or not. If it is the crystal, the only thing you can do is to replace that part. Since that is not an easy thing to do (de-soldering, re-soldering), you are left with having to re-sync the clock periodically. In that case, there is already a "free" program that can do that, plus solve some other clock issues, and even help you troubleshoot some issues. It is called Atomic Clock Sync, and should be easy to find online. Even if Advanced Date Time Calculator had that feature, you probably would prefer Atomic Clock Sync.
There are a few other utilities that can sync the computer clock as one of its features, and even one that was offered here on GOTD.

Installer does not work! Win7 x64.

Robert, You need to be more specific, I installed it no problem and I'm using the x64 version of Win7.

Robert,
I got this one, I hope. Robert. Delete Advanced Date Time Calculator 9.1 that you downloaded from here.
Next. Disable your antivirus software. Why? Your antivirus software probably killed and corrupted the .gcd file. You need to read the Readme file for more information as it explains in more detail.
With your antivirus disabled, download a new copy of Advanced Date Time Calculator 9.1 from here.
Unzip the three files inside either to your desktop or to an empty folder. Note: the Setup.exe and Setup.gcd files need to be in the same folder for the program to install. At this point you should be able to install the program. I hope this helps.

D J, Sometimes antivirus software produces false positives. If you're willing to, temporarily disable Avast, and see if you get the same result.

I downloaded version 9.0 last year from GOTD. Could someone from TriSun advice what improvements have been made to this version.
As regards version 9.0 it has been very reliable and works with no problems. As a Family Historian I tend to use it for the past where it calculate dates of birth/death, periods and exact dates and tells me what day of the week events took place 100+ years ago. A nice easy program to use.

Marshland, "Update History" is easily found on the software's home page, but here it is anyway.
Important (I): fully supports native Español.
I: can copy any result directly by click a copy icon.
I: can display the up/down arrows on the sorted column header (time zones).
Added "Update history" function to the "Help" menu.
Optimized internal efficiency.

Marshland,
I find that most Windows users are not aware that the standard Windows Calculator program can do a couple of these types of date calculations (date range, add or subtract number of days). Select the Date Calculation mode from the View menu, then play around with it. It only has a couple functions, so it is not a replacement for this program, but it might come in handy when you are away from the computer you have this program installed on.

It's not often I've needed a tool like this but decided to download and install anyway. Works as advertised and pretty straight forward interface. No learning curve with this. Thanks Developer and GAOTD.

I didn't install as I have no use for it, but you should add "Video" option, so it will calculate HH:MM:SS:FF , with settings for fps.
