2. Step by step text guide:
• Get installation file as well as instruction file from Giveaway of the Day (click the green button at the beginning of this web page), and then install the program properly on your computer.
• Follow the instruction to obtain keycode from AceThinker campaign page. Once clicking “Get giveaway Version” button, you’ll see a pop-up window which contains keycode.
• Now go to run the software, click “Active” on the welcome window (or click the user’s icon on top-right menu), and then enter your registration keycode directly into the field.
• Click “Confirm” to finish your registration and enjoy!

Sorry-for months I get Giveaways when they are nearly expired-and since it is usually the middle of the night, when I get up the y ARE expired. I will be unsubscribing until you get your act together, if that is even a concern. Should be to the Giveaway creators who want their software tested and potentially bought! You are doing them a disservice, and close to a fraud.

Why has this to be such a problem to get a program registered. Why not add a Register line to the User Account button and just add the code which you receive once you enter https://www.acethinker.com/giveaway and click on Get Giveaway Version. Much simpler.

+1 to comment #3.... I've been trying to register this on my Mac for almost an hour and going around in circles. It just keeps showing up as trial version and I cannot find a way to receive a validation key/code to my email? The interface/window on my Mac does not even look like the one in your 'step by step' guide. Why make the registration process so complicated... it's not a million dollar giveaway, it's only a limited licence!

Product works as advertised. Very easy to use. Just one problem: Every time you open the program it loses it's registration and becomes a trial with very limited features. I cannot find a way to make the registration stick. I registered with the manufacturer and created an account. Obviously, since it won't be possible to register after today, tomorrow it will be useless.
Hopefully, the developer will address this critical issue today!

The registration process is much too complex. After completing everything all I saw was a 3 month trial. I logged and back in and also verified all my input. Come on people, just provide a pre-registered program. Also, I didn't like when it popped up a screen saying if you want the "Full" version as opposed to the Giveaway version, it was $39.95. If you're going to provide a trial, make if a full functioning version so we can evaluate it for future purchase.

"The most powerful screen recorder to record computer screen with audio!"
The developer should maybe think about changing the tagline as there is freeware and open-source software available that is way more powerful than this software. OBS Studio is regarded by many as the overall best open-source screen recorder.
It's not that I am out to attack the creator of AceThinker Screen Grabber, but with a tag line like that you are opening the door to be assualted from all sides

Hey, Craig Haywood, OBS Studio claims they do not support Windows 7 anymore, should we try it anyway ( som programs work on Windows 7 but are not 'supported' by Q&A ), or should we look for an older version of OBS Studio, or do you know of other alternatives to compare to AceThinker Screen Grabber? Gosh, Enzo Contini, I have a dozen Windows 7 computers running and networking just fine, 20+ Terabytes server farm, about to triple that, and even with 4 GB RAM, they opening dozens of browser tabs, quickly, and with 16 GB RAM can do dozens of tasks at once, no problem - and no operator retraining.
One WIndows 10 POS Phone Operating System computer someone gave me can't open 2 browser tabs without locking up and needing to reboot.
Another Windows 10 computer gave up booting, so it's a Windows 7 computer now.
Plus, has ANYONE ever called Microsoft for support?
Me neither.
So 'unsupported' is no different from day 1 to day 4,625.
Anyway on topic, Ace Thinker works just fine in Windows 7.
I was asking about alternatives that also work in Windows 7, if anyone has experience.
