Abylon FILECOPY is an extension for the Windows File Explorer. Menu file lists can be copied from the clipboard to the target directory via the right mouse button. This way only those files are copied, whose file content has changed. This doesn't depend on the file name, because these files are simply renamed. Especially with large amounts of data, such results are an immense time saving. Further advantages include the overwriting of the used files and the optional execution of the copy process with administration rights. The options include the synchronization of directories or the simple search for files or file contents.

It may be useful or of great benefit, but from the description there is really no way for me to even guess. Best of luck to the developer. My immediate recommendation is that you put some of your resources into translations improvement.

Well I can not get the program to install even with the antivirus turned off. I have tried twice now!! Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Seems like it adds a folder synchronizer option to the right click menu of Windows File Explorer. Interesting idea...But for important tasks like backups i prefer a dedicated folder synchronizer software, like the nice FreeFileSync.

If my understanding of this program is correct, it could be immensely useful. I have a lot of documents on my computer, some which I edit. If this program only copies those files that had changes made to them, then it will be a great time saver, and convenient as well. I'm looking forward to trying this out, especially in tandem with Microsoft's OneDrive. Thanks GOTD & Abylon!

Hi - The description does not tell me exactly what this program does. Why is it a plus for explorer. Can you gtive us some example so what it does? Thanks.

I installed this program on Windows XP, but it would not run, giving a "...is not a valid Win32 application" error message. I did also try the trial version from the web-site, and this did install and run, but it would not accept the user name and licence key I received for the GAOTD offer.
During installation it also installed Microsoft Visual C++ (2015) and when it ran I saw that it had created a new service, which I'm never too keen on, so I shall part with it without undue concern.

Just to add that Abylon wrote to me to say they offer 2 different versions of this program, as shown on the website. The GAOTD wrapper contains only the Windows 8 and above version.
They invited me to install the other version and get back to them at the end of the 30 day trial period if I wish to retain it to reach "a mutually satisfactory solution".

I simply could not get the program to install even with my antivirus installed. It did not even ask for my Registration number etc.
