Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Abelssoft Keydepot 2024 was available as a giveaway on October 16, 2024!
KeyDepot takes care of all your secret passwords by storing them an encrypted safe. From now on, all you need is a master password to access your sensitive data.
Besides traditional passwords, Keydepot can now also handle software-license-keys, banking-credentials and smartphone-PINS and stores them in your secure database as well. If you need a new password, the newly developed password-generator creates very strong passwords. Highly sensitive data can be secured by an additional master password check.
A special security check analyses the strength of current and old passwords. Also old passwords that aren’t changed for a longer period or are too short or insecure can be warned of.

...and, too, what of all the thousands of prograammes that are written JUST for Windows. In your judgment they too would be "non-starters"?

Is this a single year of membership or a lifetime thing?

I don't see 2fa/mfa here or there is no such function. Nowadays, a password manager should have such a function.

If you have to reformat the computer, do you still keep this program? That's important if, for example, this is a "giveaway" that you can install now but not later.
Save | Cancel
pnj, normally here and most other giveaways the install window is limited to a specific number of hours or days, here it's limited to 24hours (give away of the DAY) if you get yourself into the situation when your only choice is to reformat your system drive... and start afresh then you will have a few choices, use a free version with it's limitations, buy the premium edition or wait until the giveaway comes around again. Now there are some that can be made to install after the giveaway is over but they are rare and you won't normally learn about them on this sites giveaway comments section as that would be kinda shooting themselves in the foot. Now if you made proper image and intermediate backups you have a completely different set of conditions and generally you can re-install with license intact by restoring a recent backup image.

It may be just me, but in this day and age a password manager that works on Windows but not Macs or phones is a non starter.

Dave Floyd, Why would that be a non-starter. Lots of people, milllions, have Windows but don't have Macs.
