You need to set high DPI settings if you are using a 4K display otherwise the registration window does not work.

Just for the record, I gave 3StepIcon a try on XP despite the System Requirements stating it's for Windows 7 and above only and got an error message about it being "not a valid Win32 application". Thought I'd check if it worked on Win32 at all, as the company is called 64bitapps, and tried the web-chat: was surprised to get an immediate response from Cezar himself. Yes, it is suitable for 32 bit machines on Win7 and above, but his only app that works on XP is NeatMP3.

I saw a few deficiencies, which you might want to improve.
1. Possibility to export as SVG
2. Possibility to export as ICO
3. Possibility to import an SVG and save as a template
4. Possibility to add strokes, not only text
5. The window is not resizable, so the list with icons only shows two at a time.

Seems to be a fun little program. Tried making an icon using my own photo, used gradient, result was fine. do not have time to continue testing. I was looking for something basic and this is it.

I just installed it and ran it. I did have to delete a space at the end of the license code, which had been added to the paste. In the test that I ran, it first added a color, using either a color swatch, wheel or custom colors created by using the RGB numbers. Then the icons could be either flat, 3D for color and/or text, which can be modified in type, size and color as well. Saving it to a folder saved several icons in different quality, with different byte counts, from small up to about 400k bytes. An easy to use, effective product. I am graphically challenged, so I went with basic work. Someone more graphically and artistically capable would do far better than I can. :)

For those who are still struggling to activate the software:
Click on setup file to install the program.
To activate the program you need your ID and key. Both are given in the readme.txt fie.
Use user@giveawayoftheday.com as your User Name at the top box
and the key from the file at the bottom box.
The software will be activated now..

just downloaded and installed then tried to activate as instructed and I get this (The email and license key you entered are not valid. Please check your spelling and try again.) that is after I did a copy and paste for each line of text.
Where do I go from here?
