I am in the same boat as the Karla, the second commentor. This junk software did the exact same thing and trashed my PC. I have been an active giveawayoftheday subscriber for years but will definitely no longer be willing to try software that is not tested thoroughly beforehand again. DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE unless you enjoy re-imaging your drives or be sure to have a recent recovery available.

It looks like that this software is malware - it destroyed my windows XP , data in the root and the document folders and the restore points.
I have not prove of it -it needs the further analysis-but in the some other comments is information about destroying data by this software and I agree with them. In my case I had good luck -the all important data were moved to another disk one day earlier.

Never again, crashed my pc then after reboot alot of my files were corrupted for unknown reasons it says! Do know if I delete this out of my system, but I've had 2 crashes after reboots...time to do a restore! Thanks GAOTD, for this software, now I can be busy with my PC instead of my other jobs I could be doing.

I wouldn't recommend this to GAOTD users! Beware and be careful!
I know GAOTD had nothing to do with this, they usually have great free apps.

Here I'm again - some new infos about my crashed partition (using 3D PageFlip Standard):

1. The not deleted folders/files are all Hidden or Write-protected. So this horribel Application could not kill them. Thats the reason because I fond them.

2. Using Lazesoft Recovery Suite via USB-Stick I could find all the erased 200GB. So restore take ca. 4 hours to save all to another partition. - But here all files/folders now have the today time-stamp. So to use those documents its bad. And only 90% could be restored. 10% is killed and overwritten with Zero KBs

3. I have learned that a GAOTD-Programm can have a much more and here much faster destroy-power than all internet-virus.... Thats a very sad lection. Thanx 2 GAOTD

Not sure, whether you always REALLY tested the software you suggested?!

Just 2 points - as example - for just today:
1. you suggest the NON-free tool from "pdfonline"
2. the same tool is (and were even for free...) not worth metioning: bad results in each aspect!!!

P.S: OpenOffice/LibreOffice can since generations edit .PDF files (via the Draw module)!

For kicks and giggles I tried this [wisely, as it turned out, running in Avira's sandbox] Seems to work as well as described above in the negative comments - in short; it sucks. I don't know how 3D PAGEFLIP PDF Editor got the awards displayed on the program's display page, but I took a gander at Soft32's and Soft3K's sites - this software isn't even offered on them, much less listed as a "pick".

Very misleading title... Does not create flipbook. It fact, it is only an editor, and a limited one at that. I do not see the purpose in editing a PDF as an image file. Also, program very buggy. Freezes and editing function definitely has problems. Better to spend money on a real editing program. One program I'm not going to keep on my computer.

Installed and is total disaster, uninstalled immediately.

On the basis of reports here from what appear to be *genuine* GOATDers rather than shillers, today's software shouldn't be touched with a 10ft pole. Or even, a mile-long pole.

Software publishers / developers which care about their products and customers -- actual and potential -- tend to participate in a GAOTD comment thread appropriate to whichever of their products is on a giveaway offer.

And any self-respecting developer / publisher with a pride in its product and a care for its customer would positively fly here in the event of catastrophic computer failures being reported after an encounter with one of its products.

But the 3DPageFlip Software Company hasn't. It gives every impression of not caring whether its product is unmitigated crap and whether that crap is resulting in consequences of varying degrees of seriousness for various users.

If 3DPageFlip Software Co., is only trying to get some general exposure rather then promoting this giveaway (would be quite silly considering all the bugs), they painfully succeeded. Who would like to try another software from this company when they are able to rig you up with a misfit like this geiveaway and under normal circumstances they would let you pay for this cr*p. Do you trust to get any better next time for your money?

The giveaaway only freezes after opening any pdf. Uninstalled it, where destroying it would be not quite enough. Jeeaahz!!

Installed this on a spare computer running Windows 7 32 bit . I use this just as more of a secondary source for testing programs before i put them on my main computer . (WHEW Glad i did ) This program has something really wrong with it . What happened to the # 2 poster happened to me as well it It froze up completely and i terminated the process and it had erased a lot off of the partition . Either this program is a beta test program or its got some serious issues . One or two of us i can see but it seems to be affecting everyone's computer in one way or another . Glad i did not install it on the main computer .

I tried to perform a couple of editing task on a PDF of mine with no results (only errors).

This website is intented to advertise products and spread the word about them on the web and not to give crappy programs like this which end to give problems to their users.

Buggy is not the word. This is unstable and unusable on vista home premium 32 bit with windows. just keeps hanging.

They have not stated a price but if they pay me enough i will have it when it's finished.

There are so many free alternatives that work I'm not even sure why someone would offer this for money???

- the "erase" function of this program is very destructive
- I strongly recommend not to try this program in a useful environment
- otherwise you will be forced to use recovery tools in order to get back a part of your recoverable data

This program has a serious bug. I tested it on a XP pc. The program freeze and after that more files on the desktop was erased. I will not try it further more.

All you need is 'Nitro Reader' and it's FREE!

You might miss Windows 8 under System Requirements, but it runs on my W8 64 desktop.

Same as 5. Munky: Precise description of what happened to me. Applikation crashes after loading first page - useless! Same happens with demo-file from their website.

Downloaded quite quickly and installed well. I am a windows 7 user. easy manage PDF pages.... A keeper.

Well I have news here, there is nothing to be tested at all, it is not usable.

Only thing workiing is installation, starting up, registration and import incomplete first page of any document waiting to abort. Not even good for a giveaway.

I have tried this application before today but I am pretty much convinced there are no changes since then. This application is not exactly a PDF editor it rather handles the PDF as an image, then lets you delete part of it, add watermark (editing the image by adding another image to it)or highlights (adding transparency abled image. Of course, because it handles it as a image, the output result is not as great, for instance when one wishes to enlarge the PDF and zoom in the watermark will become blurred even if added as text

I downloaded and followed the instruction's and the program became non responsive, i uninstalled and cleaned and reinstalled and it became un responsive again ! Maybe it will work for you ?

With this I've deleted my harddisk in seconds!!!!

What happens:
After installation I tried to open a PDF from my special Dokument-Hard-Disk-Partition (d:\). The program gets hanging (no response). So after 1 Minute I terminated this process with Taskmanager (WIN7-64bit).
After that - 95% from my Dokument-HD-Partition was erased!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know why - but the last 5% shows me that all empty leaved folders has a changing-Date from that exact today-time when I tried this program.
