1Password rocks. Been using it for nearly 3 years, yes it's subscription but it's the only password manager you can truly trust. No tracking in app. Constantly updated and used by companies like IBM so you know it's good - customer service is amazing and almost instant via email. I cannot fault them - happy to pay $50 for the Families account per year to keep myself and my entire family safe PLUS free updates and some cool features like the Privacy integration release they did last year - so so happy with this product and service. Big fan.

Would never trust something that's cheap, free or one off - read their White Papers - they aren't very secure. It's almost impossible to access 1Password data unless you handover like three different encryption methods... seriously get miffed seeing people think BitWarden is the same as 1Password. Wouldn't touch that if you paid me, I don't want someone accessing my passwords. haha.

Amazing offer, might even make a new account to get the discount! ;)

This 'review' is staggering. You can't say something isn't secure then tar every software with that brush. You can't attack BitWarden without a proper argument. Of course BitWarden is secure. Just because it's free doesn't mean that they store your passwords in a Notepad text file. I get 'seriously miffed' when people bad-mouth other software for absolutely no reason, or just because you don't understand how something works.

Chris, He’s not reviewing. He seems to just giving opinion. The fact they have trackers, makes them insecure. https://community.bitwarden.com/t/remove-embedded-trackers-from-bitwarden/18925

If you have a computer and regularly go online, then there are several tools every user requires. Users should backup their documents and system regularly, ensure applications are updated regularly, have some anti-virus protection and finally have a secure password management system in place. Many people use either weak passwords or the same password across different websites. Both these practices are wrong. Check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/ for an idea of how frequently websites get hacked and account details get breached. 11 billion accounts at the last count. Your email account should be the best protected - once they're in that, they have access to everything else. Passwords should be strong and unique. However, this makes remembering them impossible, no matter what system you use - passphrases, sentences, etc.
While 1Password may be great, there are always alternatives and BitWarden should be at least considered. It's open-source and works across multiple devices.
Install this and try it, but at least use one password manager. Ensure all your passwords are unique and ensure all your passwords are strong.

Still using Roboform from day one and when it was launched.

I have tried many others but I still find Roboform is the best. Others seem to have issues with Linux password protected directories I have found.

Not saying all password managers are like this. But this is a very annoying issue for me where as Roboform works. Plus I can save software password information to Roboform as well.

txtim, Ditto to that. Used LastPass for years until Sticky Password. Lifetime buy last month and never regretted it.
