I like having a separate application for MP3. This one hardly uses any system resources. (Check it with Anvir, TaskMan, or Sysmon.) The full-featured Audio/Video players everyone raves about, like WinAmp, WMP (even my favorite mplayerc.exe from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm), use way more resources. I have them on my system too, but this is *GREAT* if I just want a lightweight music player with no resource footprint to speak of while programming or watching video on another app with the sound track off. To be fair, I wouldn't pay $20 for this. And the UI is quirky with no right-click or hovertext functionality. Not even a menu bar, LOL. But that's part of the minimalist charm of this one-trick pony. I do appreciate all the programs that you do ofer but I would love to see the games return and be here on a more regular basis. instead of this hit & miss stuff.. Thanks to Stephen a.k.a. However, if you use the version from their website, it'll tell you "Zortam Mp3 Player is not a free software,...", while the installer says the same thing as on the Giveaway installer. So the question is, is it free or not? I think paying for software that says that it's free three out of four times is extremely suspicious.
