For non-computer guys like me, I found the YouTube video Ripper to be perfect. Here's why.

1. Downloaded easy with a desktop icon for ease of use.

2. I was able to download a ton of songs in MP3 to which were then easy to burn to disk. (Some sound quality better than others as are all YouTube videos)

3. For videos, I was able to find the right format for both of my home computers.

4. My son was able to rip videos to his iPod without problem.

5. By using tube as opposed to Limewire, I find my fear of viruses to be non existent.

6. YouTube has all the music that I like and easier to find and cheaper than LimeWire and Itunes.

7. I can download as many songs for as fast as I can go, walk away for a couple of minutes and they will all be in the folder ready to go.

Again, I'm sure many people who are competent with computers could find technical issues to look into more deeper but for a beginner like me, I find it perfect.

#25 Antonio: I clicked on the Keepvid link, typed in a YouTube URL, clicked on the "Download" button and waited a few minutes. Nothing happened! I use the latest version of Firefox, so the "all files have finished downloading" link should have appeared in the lower-right hand corner of my monitor and Firefox's "Download" box should have appeared as the video was being downloaded to show its progress. What gives? What did I do incorrectly? Is there anybody out there that can help me at this late date?

Seems pretty buggy. I chose to download a Vid in MP3 format, it's telling me that it completed but there is nothing in the download folder. I then downloaded the same vid in FLV format, this time it created a 0 byte icon in the download folder and is telling me that it's complete. Looks like some one needs to work on the bugs if they really want to market this product.
