To #42...Well done! I didn't get the "not trusted" error code, but the

* Select Macro Settings in the left pane.
* Make sure that Trust access to the VBA project object model is checked.
* Click OK buttons.

worked beautifully. The only problem now is that I get an "Evaluation Copy" logo and link on the bottom right of the presentation player, and the trial will presumably die in a few days/hours.

TO WONDERSHARE (and to a lesser extent GOTD too)
Some of us have much less than 24hrs to download, install and check GOTD programs. If they fail, then there is often no time to try different remedies. Tech support needs to see what's happening and get in there quickly with a solution. It's no good stating "Email Tech Support".
1. There isn't time, and
2. GOTD states "No tech support entitlement"

So... boo again to your tech support (I'm assuming #42 doesn't work for Wondershare)and again sadly, PPT2FLASH is still coming off this pc.

Both this product and iSpring (Asschaff's recommendation) are good inexpensive alternatives to Articulate Presenter, Captivate, and others. Articulate Presenter is king of the hill in PPT to Flash conversion - but it's also hellish pricey - $700 or so for a two-user license last time we purchased one.

Wondershare, for an offshore publisher - really is trying to do a decent job. YOu'll notice they're pro-active here, always willing to jump in and help etc. For free, you can't beat this. I just wish they'd go way out on the limb and do a GiveAaway with the PRO version of their whole learning suite. How 'bout it guys?

iSpring Pro does the job in a far superior fashion. iSpring Pro gives you several choices of players, lets you customize the buttons displayed on the players, allows you to set the flash video to play automatically, and even allows direct uploads to Slideboom from within the iSpring interface. I'm typically a Wondershare fan, but PPT2Flash doesn't measure up.

Hopefully this signifies the imminent appearance of some other Wondershare titles that I DO need-- DemoCreator, please? Thanks GAOTD!

Downloaded, converted 2 PP shows, both almost an hour long. Vista Home Premium. HP quad core machine that has never given me a problem in almost 2 years.

Some transition errors, animation errors, text errors, like some letters missing, some graphics skewed too wide, audio sounded tinny.

Converted the same with ispring free version. Converted correctly, no errors, great sound qality.

A thumbs down for me today. Too bad.....

ispring converter is free and not bad. but I always fail to convert any ppt that contains any wma or mp3 file, wav file is OK though. It doesn't support narration recording either.

That's why I want to keep this wondershare piece, too. I got that "Conversion Failed! Programmatic access to Visual Basic Project is not trusted." with this software when using powerpoint 2007 yesterday too. However, I figured it out. Here is what I did:

PowerPoint 2007
Select the Office Button or press Alt+F key combination.
Click PowerPoint Options button.
Select Trust Center in the left pane.
Click Trust Center Settings button in the right pane.
Select Macro Settings in the left pane.
Make sure that Trust access to the VBA project object model is checked.
Click OK buttons.
