Fantastic bit of software - does what it says on the tin (DVD _> Flash conversion).

Only glaring problem is the lack of wide screen & higher resolution formats, so it's not that useful for ripping DVDs for use on my Xperia X1, which supports 800x480 resolution.

If you don't need this feature though, it's great - if they add a better range of resolutions in the future, I may purchase this, as it works wonderfully!

Bob #42 : you neglect to say what kind of user you are operating as. Are you a Standard (Limited) User when you do the things you speak of? Or are you acting as a [shudder] Administrator? This is vital information for advice on usage if we are going to disabuse people from running their machines as admins. Just imagine anyone running their u/*nix computer as Root. It would be laughable in that community.

The message also needs to be gotten through to developers who sit there writing and testing their programs as admins all day; they might not even have a Standard (Limited) User account..! They need to be disabused, too.

As for "the files in the compressed folder by simpily double clicking on it" (I assume you mean the compressed file) - that's wrought with difficulties: using a temporary view inside a compressed package can really screw things up. It's best to extract the files to, say, an Install folder, and then use them in a natural (unpackaged) state.

I have the same problem that #15, Redrik, had; when I try to extract, for each file in the zip folder that the extract process comes across, it indicates that the file is password protected and that a password is needed...Why??? If your going to do this, give us the password(s) so that we can extract the files.

If anybody else has this problem, I worked around the problem by creating a new regular (non-zipped) folder with the same name as the zipped folder (although, you can name it anything you want), but without the ".zip" extenision, of course; and then I just dragged the zipped files from the zipped folder into the new regular folder, thereby copying the extracted form of each file into the new folder...and I was never asked for a password when I did it this way.

I have Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 2...just in case anybody is wondering.

I currently use HandBrake, a DVD to MP4/AVI converter, which is great for putting DVDs on your PSP/iPod/whatever, but a program like this one is great for getting those movies onto your blog/myspace/website for wiewing...being able to add some effects is pretty useful too...

aw, man, all is good, the pgm, the reg. The FLV, SWF, Flash player 10...well, I don't know, these flash pgms kill me...all keep telling me I don't have Fl10 installed (as if). I even moved it into every pgm folder, copied it X times. No go. The install even asked me a wierd question, real personal and caring-friendly like: DO YOU PROMISE TO INSTALL FLASH PLAYER 10? I clicked YES. This is a wierd show, almost as entertaining as "Coast." FF, Adobe, MS keep showing F10 is installed...I can copy and move it, all some 10 separate installs.

I notice the sign-in macro didn't work tonight...Ashcraft's does...can anyone help with the Flash player 10? What good are all the Flash pgms to me, and I can't get in a Flash? iam serious!

Fantastic, i downloaded then installed with no problems.
Usually i dont post here. this time i had to because i
Cannot think of better software to post on. and i was very
Keane to do so. the interface is abit confusing but once
You get used to it you should not have a problem
Once you figure it out. It did take me a while to
Understand what to do but i got there in the end...
