@74: NO, it's NOT just you :-)

There ARE a LOT of "Whaah attack" victims here.

And they should write their own software and post it if they don't like free screensavers and breakout games.

@78: I'm afraid you've missed out on a good one. That disclosure statement was probably a standard one meant for the "usual" trial download customer. An "about" click tells me my copy is registered to giveawayoftheday.

Just a little bit of a learning curve to set up my hot keys but, WOW! I LOVE it!

@81: I love irfanview too but c'mon, you can't compare an image editor with a productivity tool on the basis that they share one feature :-)

@83: This program may be a little too powerful for the avg user if the registration process gave you any trouble.

Larryc28 (#78)

This was a full piece of software AFTER you followed a tricky installation procedure. Unf. you won't be able to do that now as we've left the installation period.

#42 or thereabouts, "WinME"
taskban (and other ware) is a mini taskman, small, and runs on 9x. but i think you have to have it running for its hotkey to pop it up. once your computer's flaking, it's too late to startup the taskman

I was going to try Wirekeys. I downloaded it with the intention of installing it. When I read the disclosure statement it clearly stated that it is for 14 days, after which a paid license is required. It might be too much to ask, but can you tell me that this software and any subsequent software is delivered with full license because it comes through GAOTD? I love your site and the concept of it. Are you staying true to the originally stated concept of GAOTD which as I understood it was that the software offered was free to use indefinitely. (upgrades not included.) Someone at GAOTD please feel free to answer or start a dialogue. I deleted this offering. Thanks, in advance for your response.

Such a shame what's actually a very good and useful piece of software has such a poor installation process. By following the instructions from GAOTD (#13) and, crucially, #18's clarification of those instructions I have registered my copy - but the registration process itself (viz. double clicking to open boxes) seems very contra intuitive. That said it is a good piece of software - it dupes lots of stuff I do already but as an all-in-one "Swiss Army Knife" it's good, particularly for newbies. Just simplify the registration process by making the boxes into which you paste the email and activation codes more obvious and more easily opened (or if you're aiming high write a batch file that will insert the keys from a browser).
