In both comments it looked like the registration was already there, but how come?
Reading balpeens (#79) comment clears it all:

“BTW: I’ve been using this since the previous time it was offered” so it was allready regged from a previous time.
I think that will be the same for JKengineer (#71)

This program is great! Until now I haven’t had time to figure out how to change the settings for my new monitor. It’s beautiful for graphics, but some of the text doesn’t display correctly–barely readable for my old eyes. I finally searched online for “refresh rate” (at my daughter’s suggestion) and then right-clicked on WireKeys to access Control Panel. Turns out I didn’t have to go to Control Panel. From WireKeys I could go directly to Display Resolution. Very quickly I had the refresh rate set to a better rate.

I’ve been looking at the tutorial also and found other capabilities I didn’t think I would use, but now I probably will.

Does anyone know how this compares/conflicts/complements AnVir Task Manager Pro? There seem to be some similar features…?

BTW – this loaded and registered fine using #6 instructions, and use Giveawayoftheday in place of the email when you register.

Thanks, GOTD. I just installed this, and it looks like something I’ll be happy with. I just got a new computer with Vista Home Premium x64. I HATE Vista. Simple things to do are made more complicated in Vista. I’m having to spend a lot of time trying to learn Vista when I just want to do simple things like uninstall a program, etc. I’m not a power user, but I’ve used computers for years, and Vista apparently is made for people who don’t know how to use computers.

I like the way WiredKeys allows me to access things more easily. Even if I don’t use all the capabilities, I’m glad to use some of them.

Folks! Back up your software using something like Acronis otherwise, if your PC crashes later on, you are SOL! Acronis makes an EXACT image of the PC and you will not need a new registration code. The installer will not work at that time and you will have to purchase it because it will be as if you downloaded the installer on that particular date! Just a warning so that you don’t get carried away by all the warm and fuzzies…!

I agree, this is the worst registration procedure of any program I’ve gotten on GOTD. The developers really need to change to something more straightforward before they offer this or other programs again.

Registration–IF ALL ELSE FAILS:

I followed the steps suggested by #26, but had problems. I discovered that even though I pasted in the registration info, for some unknown reason the info I copied had two reversed characters. So, if all else fails, check character-by-character the info you pasted into the registration lines.

Easy registration for me – I double-clicked the box next to “Serial” and “Emai” and did a copy/paste from GAOTD activation pop-up :) I’m anxious to start using this and see if it saves some time in having to open up task manager and/or control panel. So far, the install and reg were a breeze, I have a positive expectation.
