I downloaded this and it seemed good, but I see the YouTube URL part stopped working at the beginning of March and just says "you need to update to the latest version"... not quite the amount of usage I expected to get. Maybe this should have been mentioned! I didn't realise "no free updates" also meant "will stop working when the next update comes along". Worth noting if it comes up again...

I downloaded yesterdays giveaway and installed without problems. It converted my 20 year old MJPEG videos (6ooMB/5minutes) in MKV files very nicely. It kept original resolutions and frame rate, I could barely see any difference with admittedly pretty poor original material. Ive tried to do this with quite a few other programs and this was the best one by far for this admittedly specialist task. Very impressed.

Should have pointed out in fairness to you that this runs perfectly with Windows 7 and it fully meets my needs using that OS. For me, definitely a keeper!

This video converting software gets me flat-out satisfied with its various functions: HD video converter, online video downloader, slideshow maker and video editor. What’s better is that this video is fast, really fast, so fast that it only takes several minutes to convert a music video. In a word, I can’t ask for more.

Thanks, GOTD. I’ve been looking for a capable and fast video converter since I updated my computer to Windows 10 because my old video converting software doesn’t support Windows 10. And now I can say this for sure: I finally found it. Thank you for bringing me such a good video converter that even supports the conversion between the most obscure video formats that stopped my old video converter from working. Besides, it is really fast. When I choose the newly added hardware acceleration mode (Intel QSV or Nvidia CUDA/NVENC), it reduced the time spent on conversion big time, by almost half.

Love the frequent updates for this program, but after doing a download test of an older youtube online video, very fast download, but even after selecting HQ Engine and interlacing option, no noticeable difference at all in resolution quality of video or audio sound from previous WINX version.
Still less resolution quality than my other online similiar online downloaders like Wondershare and 4K Downloader etc.
Still needs better video Resolution quality options, and an online video sound cleaning option for older or lower quality videos would make this programs tops over all competitors, and then would love to buy the lifetime full license, without hesitation.

Running Vista Service Pack 2. Program installed and registered without any problems. However, every video format I tried to load (M2TS, MP4, even AVI) resulted in an error:
"Entry Point Not Found"
"The procedure entry point GetNumaNodeProcessorMaskEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll".
Hard to convert a video when you can't even load the video!!
Program has been uninstalled and downloaded file has been deleted.

So far, so good! Easy user interface + rapid conversion + great quality + unbeatable price = a winner in my book! Thanks Digiary and GOTD.

Hooray...Thanks to Digitarty for this software. Having just suffered the demise of my desktop computer and now running windows 10, I really needed new software. I wish I could get the WinX 2016 Holiday Video Pack (4 in 1) while it's on sale...complete video software for everything and such a deal.

Earlier in day it said "download Mac Version here". (Win HD 5.9.1 Conv) Even though it says "Win and Mac compatible. I downloaded it on my Mac OS X.8 and it says not compatible. Now cannot find the Mac Ver. that was available earlier. I did buy the $9.95 upgrade for my Windows 10 pc. Do love GOTD, been doing them for years and years. Thanks

Tried to leave this under feedback, but not working:

IE11 issues the following warning upon downloading "The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid." I believe Digiarty may still be using an SHA1 type certificate that is no longer considered secure:

I suggest re-signing as SHA256 type certificate to be in compliance with security standards that went into effect Jan 1.

Being able to
1- Flip, Rotate etc... video.
2- Basic effects.
3- Edit downloaded video from URL

You state that you can get the full version using 2 different ways. That's false. You only have one way which is to pay for it. The other way is only for one person who wins your drawing. Truth in advertising please.

I have few WinX Software on my PC and they are generally quite decent pieces.

Does this support HEVC aka x265 filetype conversion and creation?

Highly recommended that you grab this one while you can. I’ve been using the previous version and it has performed perfectly and is very fast in it’s conversion.

Especially beneficial to me is the ability to covert video for use on ‘X’ phone. Many videos have been too large to share on social media via phone. This program quickly whittles it way, way down to a usable size.

This is excellent software and well worth the today only cost of roughly $10 if you want the full version. I tried the video download / conversion to see how well it'd work and it worked perfectly yielding a 17 minute video rendered in about 30 seconds. If this isn't full CUDA, it must be magic.

Video converters are an often offered class of softwares offered on GOTD. I doubt there is a better one out there either as a GOTD or at retail.

Great to know that the new version supports Intel’s QSV and Nvidia CUDA/NVENC technologies. I would take a test with my new PC and know how good its performance would be.

Of all the freebies offered on this website, this is the best one.

I have downloaded one of the previous versions of this HD video converter from GOTD. Works fine with my patience for both converting videos to my Samsung and downloading videos from YouTube to my PC. Now take a try with the new version, I found they add Hardware Encoder to it and Intel is automatically selected for my PC. And it just costs about 15 minutes to convert a 90-minute video to MP4(H.264) in good quality. Really recommended to grab this chance to free get one.

I'm downloading the program now and really I don't have to worry about any problems with WinX programs for this is a company that only produces Quality programs. Thank you GOTD and WinX for the opportunity to receive these great assets to my arsenal of programs at my finger tips.

I mainly use vid converter to convert AVI MKV files to MP4 for the sake of saving storage on iPad and NAS. Just converted 6 x 35min TV series in bulk - total file size reduced from 1.86g to 1.14g, commendably with no quality loss.

Glad to see its hardware acceleration does the trick on my laptop (GTX 960M with an Intel chipset HM86), it is almost 10 percent faster to the former v5.6 I got from GAOTD. On top of all that the program has never got choked in my machine, unlike other vid converters it seems perfectly compatible with my Windows 10. Nice offer, thank you GAOTD & Digiarty.

I dowload the lisence code as they said I shall, but after I have zip the zip file and open the text file so is it empty and no lisence code stands on the site either... So where are it mean to be then?

You can use Avdshare Video Converter to converter WMV to MOV, AVI, MP4, FLV, 3GP, MKV to play WMV on more media players, portable devices or upload WMV to YouTube and more video sharing websites.

Personally, I have always much preferred version 3.10.3 dating back to 2011 as there's much more SIZE adjustments available.

I'm going to give this "New & Improved" version a miss!

Installed and registered using a somewhat convoluted method of obtaining the key for registration.
Note:-a second zip file is downloaded and it contains a README file which contains the key!

On attempting to open a video for conversion the program failed; the message was in essence "unable to find entry point in MSVCRT.DLL"

This occurred when trying to over write an old version, it also occurred when this version was removed and the program reinstalled.
