I'd tried on multiple win9x, xp computers and a few "mother" apps. I've tried a few of the external checkers, and some operated as claimed, yet were far too cumbersome to use. BTW, similar limitations regarding typo-ware's guessing apply to speech recognition ware. but speech recognition has an even messier "challenge".
