The install process is one of the most crazy ones I have ever encountered, basically uses all memory of the PC and doesnt tell us what it currently actually does or installs. That'a amateur crap. Plus my AntiVir popped up twice to delete files it considered to be dangerous.

Now the app still starts, and seems to look useful, but clicking on some functions it immediately closes, in total. Hahaha, that was funny. I suggest you guys get a real programmer, that streamlines your application, and tests it against firewalls and antivir programs.

Personaly I do not need this as I am happy with SmartPix ($15 ? but does vary at times) and ACDSee (free with camera, but can be bought).
I would have tried it to give feedback as the GAOTD system is designed.
If it was noticeably better, then I would happily buy and get the updates.
BUT :-
Registration is too complex.
I have read nothing to say it is woth $70.
Plus it appears to have poor uninstaller, which means I end up using another uninstaller (i.e. need to do the job twice).
So it is not worth bothering with.
P.S. If anyone did want to steal the software, there are so many ways of doing it, the company is 'banging it's head against a brick wall' simple and efficient protection is best.

@ Angela #49: Try using Revo uninstaller to remove it. If you don't already have it, just get the free version from their website at revouninstaller.com and run it in the "Advanced" detection mode. It's been on giveaway here in the past (pro version) and cleans up failed uninstallers really well.

agree with #44.

not sure if this causes reg issues for some folks, but per readme file, submit for registration info first before installing. follow directions and you will receive your password quite quickly. then install, and add as directed.

interface is simplistic, not too pretty. however my images will not load in the file list window. I'm usually quite software literate, but maybe I'm missing something?

...and finally, after the crashes when I re-opened, none of my folders appeared to contain any files again!

To add insult to injury, the uninstaller bundled with the set up didn't work.

Needless to say, I have now used another program to uninstall it, and I can quite easily state that this is the worst program I have ever installed from GOTD.

I'm sure I must be missing something here, but I appear to have hundreds of folders and absolutely no files (documents or photos) on my computer! As soon as I drill down past folder level, the pane is blank - ie as if no files are in the folder!

Very bemused!

STILL CRASHES after reboot attempting to read a Raw file.

NRFPTY (nerf putty) = Not Ready For Prime Time Yet

I'll uninstall and reboot one more time to clear this out of my system, and move on from FileStream's offering.

Earlier, someone suggested that "... Turbo Browser ... [is]... just like Microsoft’s Windows Browser ..."

Microsoft's "browser" is IE Internet Explorer.

A "browser" is generally a web browser.

Do you mean Microsoft's Windows Explorer, for "exploring" (or "browsing", if you will) local files?

Whoever said Turbo Browser is not an image editor missed the pull-down menus offering Darkroom Tools, Optimization, and so on.

It's nice to view contents of files, but DOC and XLS fail, and even HTML gets script errors and lock up the computer for a while.

It's too bad the FileStream programmer isn't participating here to make things right.
