I followed the instructions to install the Dreamweaver extension with no luck. When I choose to open the file with Sothink I get the error message:
“Failed to open ‘C:\Program Files\Common Files\SourceTec\Dreamweaver\DWSothink.mxp’. The file does not exist, or its format is invalid.”

When I try to open it with Dreamweaver what I get is “Failed to open document.”

Can someone help?

Thank you GAOTD for the free software. Installed and registered OK on W XP. I downloaded hoping to use it one day. Looks neat. I’m not a web developer but it looks easy to figure out what to do with this.

To install this extension later please follow these steps:

I think the key word here is LATER!!

Ignore that for the time being and just click “continue”.
I don’t have D/W so got the same message, set up continued ok anyway.
I guess if you DO have Dreamweaver and want to install the EXTENSION later then you follow those instructions.
That is how it worked for me, hope it helps

Downloaded very quickly, so fast in fact I thought nothing had happened.
Installation, set up and registration went smoothly.
Programme loads and runs OK, no problems, it is [reasonably] easy to use, especially from templates, which may be cheating but a good place to learn.
I also like the fact I can make Google site maps from here, well, make them easier than I used to do. I am an amateur designer who does this for fun.
I am beginning to like SOTHINK even though I had never heard of them 6 months ago, so thankyou SOTHINK and GAOTD.
Oh and to thee who asked why don’t they put it all in one package, they DO!! It just aint free today, heheheh.
And, [yes I know this will get negative votes!] maybe insead of asking why, why, how and what will this do for me etc, take a look at the developers homepage, often most of those questions are answered there. This is a “comment on the software” forum, not a Q & A.
